I've been training with Shane for a number of years now and I've always been impressed with his knowledge and expertise in both strength training and nutrition. I enjoy the fact that the programmes he designs for me are varied, but also always promote improvement and the setting of achievable goals. Shane is also very responsive to any difficulties or injuries I've had in the past, being very willing to alter exercises to accommodate any problems. This has definitely helped my recovery from those injuries. Because Shane is really good at demonstrating how to do the exercises correctly, my training sessions have resulted in me becoming confident in using the free weights and resistence gym equipment, whereas in the past, I would only have used the cardio machines in the gym. Whilst Shane's attitude in our PT sessions is always professional, we also can have a good laugh, which makes the sessions tough but enjoyable. I would highly recommend Shane to anyone thinking of employing a personal trainer, either on line, or in the gym at Total Fitness. It's definitely money well spent in my view.
