I have a standing appointment every two weeks. The salon is well maintained and Mary is AWESOME! She is not only great at what she does, Mary is also big on hair care which is important to me. I recommend her whenever someone asks “Who does your hair.”

I came in and never stopped coming! I come here every week to maintain my hair. Mary is professional, she knows her stuff, and she takes care of the hair. She isn’t money driven, if you’re requesting a service that she knows is no good for your hair she will let you know. It’s been about 2 yrs now and I haven’t had a bad experience. I get wash & sets, relaxers, colors, and cuts. She also has an extensive stock of good conditioners and other hair care products for purchase.

Bersally has been doing my hair for years. I love that she is professional and skilled at my hair type. She is gentle with children.

Was given an appointment on short notice on Christmas eve! Atmosphere is warm, everyone was kind, non-judgmental. Got a great single process treatment on hard to treat hair that was done perfectly— I left with not a trace of dye on my face, neck or ears, and my hair styled beautifully. Pricing was the best in the area. Very grateful.

This was my first experience at a Dominican hair salon, so I did not know what to expect; especially with all of the bad press Dominican salons have gotten in the past. But I decided to just go with my gut and try it for myself, and I am so glad I did!Between the availability of the stylists, the speed, and the prices, I think I have found my new silk press spot!The service I got: a blow out, trim, and silk press. I will say, the blow dryers are HOT so if you are a curly girl who likes to wear her curls and don’t like excessive heat, it’s probably not for you. I’m a curly girl, but I do not wear my natural curls, so I wasn’t too concerned about the heat. But I’m sure they could adjust the setting if you ask.Overall, 10/10 experience for me, and I’m looking forward to going back.

Aparis Hair Salon has delivered again! She actually has made me feel special again, and I look and feel good through her hair styling. She reminds me of my hair stylist from Brooklyn, New York. I came in non confident, but by the time she was finished with my haircut, my confidence was high! She also advised on what haircut was suitable for me to be able to grow back my hair in a healthy looking way. She has a kind, humble way about her while she was doing my hair. Mary did an amazing job coloring my hair! She was also extremely accommodating! I had an appointment with one of the barbers and before leaving asked if I could make an appointment to get my hair colored. She told me if I could wait about 30 minutes she would fit me in. Just like that! It was indeed worth the wait! I found a skillful barber and an amazing hair stylist in the same place!

Mary was wonderful. She did a cut and color for both my daughter and I, and we loved it. Also the shop was very clean.

When I moved here from San Francisco, CA I was nervous that I wouldn’t find a stylist that knows my type of hair. To my surprise I found Mary and I quizzed her on what she was doing making sure she was using the correct name brand products and she was so patient. I’m sure she wanted me out of her chair, but now that I know her she has the patient of a Saint, and understands one’s attachment to their hair. Long story short, I drive about 25 minutes to Mary to get a Brazilian Straightener, and a cut. Mary is better than my stylist in SF and he is from Brazil! I ask her to do things he’d say could not be done … I can’t write enough great things about Mary… and above just being so knowledgeable abt her craft, she is an extremely nice personable person. I’m sad bc I’m moving to Wilmington, but I will travel back to Mary to get my hair done!

Mary is so wonderful, knowledgeable and welcoming. I originally went to her for root color and then highlights. I love both! Mary does an excellent job, takes her time and ensures highlights & color are beautiful without damaging. Aparis is definitely my new permanent salon.

My experience has been nothing but Amazing. I have been doing my hair with Mary for over 15 years and I never been disappointed. I went through the process of going natural with her. I came here to get my hair colored and went last minute and it was completely worth it. I loved my color! I also got a blowout and my hair straightened and it looked amazing. It’s been about 3 months and my color still looks good. I can’t wait to go back!
