Chef Esteban and his team did an amazing job for our family of 8. He was able to make gluten free modifications all of which were safe for the one person with a gluten allergy. All of the meals were great and everyone enjoyed them. Chef Esteban also did a great job of preparing the food, presenting it, and timing everything perfectly. Amazing experience. Highly recommend!

We hired Chef Aníbal and Chef Esteban as private chefs during our stay in Tamarindo and it was the highlight of our entire trip. The food was absolutely fantastic — we’d tried all the best restaurants in town over the course of the week, and the meal these two prepared blew every single one of them away. Hands down the best food we had in Costa Rica.Beyond the cooking, they were genuinely great to be around — easy to talk to, warm, and a pleasure to have in the house. And they left the kitchen completely spotless, cleaner than they found it.My only regret is that we didn’t book them earlier in the trip. If we had, we’d have had them cook for us again and again instead of going out. If you’re staying in Tamarindo, do yourself a favor and hire these guys. You won’t be disappointed.

A group of my friends went to Tamarindo in the spring for a week and i honestly can’t say enough about Esteban and his team!We had breakfast, lunch and dinner for 3 of the days we were in Costa Rica and all I’ve been thinking about since I’ve been home are those freshly made breakfast empanadas.10/10 service and food quality. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared with unique, fresh flavors that felt both elevated and perfectly suited to the setting. The mahi-mahi ceviche was a crowd pleaser and the Casado was the best we had all week (and we had a lot!). The flan was out of this world.Beyond the cuisine, the entire experience stood out. Although we stayed in a private home with an amazing ocean view and had excursions for tubing, zip lining and seeing sloths, the highlight of our trip were the meals created by Anibal and Esteban. We truly enjoyed their company and learning about Costa Rican culture through the meals they prepared. The experience did not disappoint with one meal better than the next and we would highly recommend their services for any type of visit to Costa Rica.
