When I showed them the image I wanted, they were, again, incredibly sincere about how sentimental the 25 year old piece of paper was. Christian was my artist and this man was a breath of fresh air. He let me stay in my wheelchair, he didn't make a fuss. He even asked if there was anything they could do to make their shop more accommodating. Havana Street Tattoo is the cleanest, most safety-oriented business I have walked into since COVID began.Also, I am incredibly pleased with the work Gilbert did for me. He was professional, created EXACTLY the piece we discussed on the phone, delivered it for preapproval exactly when he promised he would, and was a dedicated professional the entire time he was working on me. He recommended products I should bring in that worked for pain, accommodated my severe allergy to petroleum products by faithfully using an alternative option I brought with me, and gave me breaks whenever I needed them. My girls and I went there while I was on vacation visiting from New York and his clean perfect lines and careful work gave me a more perfect tattoo than I could have asked for. Not only does he do great work but is also super accommodating with scheduling appointments. The professionalism and respect throughout the shop is awesome. I told him I wanted a more basic circle and he said "well a perfect circle is going to be more difficult" ... So went ahead and hoped for the best. (I know, very stupid on my part). Finished the tattoo, and was not satisfied. At all. Did not look like a sun; which should be pretty easy to make out. I showed plenty of people it and no one said it looked remotely like a sun. It looked like a germ. Lol.. My sisters moon turned out fine. But mine, no. I ended up having to get it covered up months later. So yeah. 👍 I understand this was a long time ago and dont expect a response or anything. Just giving my review. Less

One was a ribbon and the other was a copy of one of her hello kitty drawings. I got them done a year apart. When I got the second one (hello kitty) she touched up the ribbon she did the previous y... When I got the second one (hello kitty) she touched up the ribbon she did the previous year, without an additional charge. It's now been 7 months since she did the last one. I just reached out to her to set up an appointment and she tells me that "free touch ups are only good for 6m" well.... then why did she touch up the other one a year later without an issue? Now there's a "set up fee" which is the shop minimum.This is horrible customer service on top of bad service. Don't waste your time, money or skin! Less
