Fantastic craftsmanship, professionalism, and communication! We contracted Empire to build a composite deck and large interlock patio off the back of our house, and we're very happy with our choice. From start to finish they were great to work with: from walking us through our design, to working with us through the quoting process, to coordinating the permit, and then actually building it all. Every single employee we interacted with was great, and the final result looks fantastic! I booked Empire to complete my front and backyard. They advanced my work date by nearly 6 weeks as they were in the area which made us enjoy the patio longer for the summer. They arrived prepared and the workers were friendly. Within 4 days, the work was completed and everything was returned to original condition. I also received a call 2 months after for a checkup and any inquiries i may have had.

There were a couple of patio stones that needed replacing after the work was done (one was chipped and one was stained) and they replaced them with no issues. Jared for the initial consultation, Andrew for the detailed proposal and continuing communications and adjustments till completion and last but not least Vince (Vincent Taillon) for most of the work including demolition of our wood deck and building the 16x20 composite beauty with aluminum railings and privacy curtain supports. Over the course of 2 major pieces of work, a back deck replaced and a front deck replaced with interlock and composite stairs to the door, we have been very impressed with both the outcome and the willingness to "get it just right" from the team from Empire Deck and Interlock. Andrew took extra time to make sure the design for the front would work well, Vince and company did an excellent job on both the back wooden deck and front composite stairs, and Martin and company just did an impeccable job of the interlock, and went the extra mile to replace a border on some of the landscaping that was added into the overall work plan after work had started.We had left the replacement of the old. decks too long, but the benefit of doing that is how dramatically improved it makes the property look. It was surprising how quickly this dedicated team could transform both spaces. They have created 2 "new" beautiful spaces for us to enjoy for years to come.

**Update**After years of snow piles and ground re-settling, some of our border stones had come loose. We reached out to Empire requesting a quote for minor repair work. The project manager, Andrew, reached out to review our needs and managed to send a crew working in the neighbourhood the following day. The repairs look great, at a fantastic price, and the crew went above our expectations for the work. We’re happy the team stands behind their work and was willing to service our small job!We hired Empire to get a last minute spot in the 2020 calendar for a driveway interlock extension. Initially we had to play a bit of phone tag to get a project completion date. Due to COVID related material shortages, we almost got pushed out of our project window, but our project manager John, managed to source the exact colours we wanted this year, of which he had recommended at our site consult to best match our house. John was helpful and friendly throughout the process, his crew were also great- friendly, efficient and most importantly, did a great job. The interlock looks awesome and we’re thrilled he managed to source materials in time to complete it before the first snowfall!
