I celebrated the sequel to my 50th birthday, HALFTIME, with OVERTIME55 at the Little Ferry Inn, and I can honestly say this place is a true hidden gem.We first toured the property during the fall and winter, when it was cold, windy, and the beauty of the grounds was still somewhat undercover. Even then, we knew the house was special. But when we returned in June for OVERTIME55, Little Ferry Inn revealed its full magic. It was nothing short of AMAZING.My favorite moment was walking through the breezeway, down the steps, and into what felt like a private paradise. The gorgeous pool area, the open sky, the waterfront scenery, and the view of the Potomac created a backdrop that looked like it belonged in a movie. It was peaceful, luxurious, and still had enough room for our family and friends to laugh, celebrate, take pictures, play, relax, and make memories all weekend long. The inside of the home was just as impressive. It was spacious, beautifully designed, comfortable, and equipped with every amenity you could imagine for a large celebration. There was plenty of room for people to gather without feeling crowded, but it still felt warm and inviting, like a place where everybody could settle in and feel at home. From the bedrooms to the kitchen, entertainment spaces, pool area, and beautiful views, the property delivered on every level. The hosts, Angela and David were outstanding! They were accommodating, flexible, responsive, and genuinely invested in making sure our experience was memorable. That kind of hospitality makes all the difference when you are planning a major milestone celebration.OVERTIME55 was an excellent birthday celebration, but Little Ferry Inn helped make it feel bigger than just a party. It felt like a full experience. It felt like a getaway. It felt like a movie scene with the people I love most.Thank you, Little Ferry Inn, for giving us the perfect setting to celebrate another chapter of life. HALFTIME was special, but OVERTIME55 at Little Ferry Inn was one for the books.
