We made reservations thru their website but never got a confirmation email. On the evening of the planned visit, I used the directions link on their website to get guided. Google maps brought us to a shopping center of Del Mar heights & told us we have arrived, but there was no restaurant with the Saffrono name in the shopping center. I used the link on their website to call them, it came back as disconnected. I tried another navigation app ( waze) to see if we are at the wrong location, & it also indicated that we have arrived. We gave up & went to BJ.'s in La Jolla instead.

One of the most beautiful restaurants I have even seen in San Diego.Their weekly events, such as live musics, DJ and all other entertainments is unique.If you go once, you will make memories.

The food here is amazing, the variety on the plates are huge. The rice tasted so fresh the kebabs were moist! Honestly I'm not one to review but the food here was definitely worth the review the new owners that just took over have been on their game, customer service was excellent here as well I think our waitress name was Wendy she was great very quick thank you saffrono restaurant for our great experience. We totally recommend this place the older reviews are from the previous owners they're definitely worth checking out with new owners.

The food at this restaurant was excellent, but unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience with the service. After we left, the server increased their tip on our credit card without our consent. Be aware that your tip might be altered after you leave, which is unacceptable and dishonest. This kind of behavior undermines trust, and I hope the management addresses this issue.

It was our first time last night, we ordered red wine, the glasses were not wine glasses, super small , also the waiter add ice 🧊 to t the red wine ( who adds ice to the wine) 😂 we asked her to bring another drink with no ice 😂she just took the ice out of the glasses , still same unpleasant taste. The cheapest wine you can ever get charged 15 $ also my Mojito was not with fresh mint. But small little dry mint. Horrible. My mom had food poisoning since last night because of uncooked meats . It was too dark over there no way you will see what you eat , until we get back home we noticed the meat is very uncooked. Never again will we be eating there . The music was very good also dancer . But music was too loud . That was our last time.

We went there for a birthday celebration . We asked for bottle of water for everyone and they didn’t have enough bottle of water and they said we’re gonna have to go to the store to buy it. The music was very loud and disturbing. I wouldn’t recommend this place . it’s just waste of time and money..
