I reached out to make the appointment through their website, exchanged some emails on what I was looking for us to get, we set up the date/time, and I was ready to surprise my wife. I had emailed some ideas and Josh sat down with us when we got there and helped us customize our matching tattoos and they turned out way better than I expected. He was able to work in some elements that are sentimental to my wife and I, and it looked killer. He was great at tattooing, perfect depth, etc., and I couldn't be happier with how they turned out. A few weeks out and they look awesome. My wife is super happy with it all and the whole experience. I absolutely highly recommend Trip Ink and Josh Riley. The first staff member I see is Chris. Right off the bat he was rude. Didn’t say hi just said do you have an appointment in a gruff way. So skip ahead we get our ids checked and everything and we show the... More

I got a tattoo here a couple of days ago. I was with a large group of people that all made appointments. We payed our deposits and got everything done via phone. I get to the shop and I walk in. The first staff member I see is Chris. Right off the bat he was rude. Didn’t say hi just said do you have an appointment in a gruff way. So skip ahead we get our ids checked and everything and we show them what we want. It was a matching variant of a minimalistic cowboy hat. They start to draw their stencils or whatever they do. And they bring the first batch out. It was absolutely astonishing how small these tattoos were that they wanted us to pay 150 for. Unbelievable. So we say no we would like it bigger. They go and come again, like .10 percent bigger. We say no, we would like it bigger still. Chris, makes a face and gets rude and snarky and says well this is 25% bigger. So we are like… okay? We want it bigger? And show him a size. He makes a face at us and raises his eyebrows like ‘oh brother, these people’. He then comes back and it’s not even bigger but we’re nervous to say anything else because he’s clearly annoyed even though the tattoos were on our body. And we gave him an idea of the size we wanted and he wouldn’t do it. So at this point we’re ready to turn around and leave then they call us back to the room one by one to get tattooed. My new wife of a day was first and I had said can I please go back with her and hold her hand and Chris then says no and laughs at me as well as scoffs. THEN I got tattoos by some old guy and when the tattoo was finished he couldn’t get the second skin to fit properly. So naturally it fell off. Multiple times. It’s still not on properly and I payed $10 for it. Honestly if the staff is going to be rude like that, I am never recommending this shop, and certainly am never going there again. The tattoo is not what I wanted, and looks dumb because it’s so small. The finished product is alright for what it is but again wouldn’t recommend Less

Fast forward to day of appt at 2pm. I was set to fly out on Alaska airlines, Alaska canceled my flight 1 2/2 hours before take off and rebooked me to get there at 2. I contacted trip ink and they moved my appt to 4pm days. I was so excited they where still going to be able to accommodate me. I arrived and meet the person I had been in contact with and low and behold it was Stephane Trip she is super friendly and professional I can’t say enough good things about her. And thank her profusely for working with me. She gave me a tour of the shop and introduced me to her husband, and I fan boyed out some. Got to chat with Rick and what a down to earth guy him and his entire crew are amazing people and artists. I also have to give Jeff my tattoo artist a huge shout out. He absolutely nailed my tattoo and great conversation we were there for 7 hours getting this tattoo done and I couldn’t be happier with it. And thanks to some of the other guys there I’ll be going back to add more to it. So weather your local or visiting and thinking about. Call message but you gotta check this place out! Visited from Detroit spent my 18th birthday in Vegas. My mom and I decided we wanted to get inked I was looking up places and this was the third one down and it stood out to me. I had my mom look up places and the same place stood out to her so she called the receptionist was so sweet and helpful. He was genuine and answered all the questions we had. We both had very talented artists that are very thorough and thoughtful of their clients. They care very much about who they are working on. They are willing to work with you and are honest in all the right ways. Very cool prices too out here I can’t find anyone willing to do a piece for less than $300 an hour. They charge $100 an hour for amazing work. My artist and along with my moms made our visionaries come to life for life. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. They provided clear instructions for aftercare and even provide you a slip to keep. For $10 you can get the protective skin to keep it from going through the scabbing and itchy process so we both decided to do that. It’s been a week today finally took the skin off, cleaned it properly and applied the tattoo lover’s ointment I purchased there. Such a great product and an amazing piece of artwork I can’t wait to continue to take care of. Beautifully authentic people in that shop you don’t have to feel worried or concerned about anything while in their hands. They take you as you are and though, being themselves they are very professional. I have no complaints and I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone in the area or to anyone who plans on visiting LV. Less

Prepping. Understanding. Printing. Stenciling. We waited 2 hr before she was getting ready to print the stencil. Yet, we waited. We were told $100 per tattoo.Then some random tattoo. Walks up (red tattoo AROUND his eye) and starts belittling the chick that was supposed to do out tats (again, I think her name was Janet), telling us that HE is the guy who does ring tats the right way and gets them to stick. Nonetheless, he told us that he charges a minimum of $150 (which, we were confused because Janet had told us that it was gonna be $100 each) however, we had already waited so long that we said "f" it, whatever, $150. Then he told us the design (a basic Celtic knot tattoo on our ring fingers) wasn't gonna stick and he would charge us $200 each because it's such an "intricate" tattoo. We had previously informed Janet that we had to leave at 1:45pm and 2 hrs later when this random dude is attempting to "help" us, he aggressively stated that "we can't do that to them. They are not doing tattoos on us with any sort of restriction" which again, is understandable to a point, yet we waited there 2+ hrs. Ive got plenty of tattoos (over 20+. I've got full sleeves lmao) and I've never had this sort of experience, especially a walk in experience. You'd expect more professionalism, friendliness and just basic understanding of time from a shop that's on the strip.
