So I've just completed the 6 week challenge. I lost 5kg of fat which is fantastic. But most importantly (and this is probably due to my age) but I've noticed that my mental focus and memory are way better than before. So would I recommend Kinetics and the 6 week challenge? I feel better physically and mentally and the icing on the cake is that i have met lots of really lovely people. I joined the Kinetics family 4 years ago and I have never looked back. In an effort to keep fit and healthy over many years I have been a member of many gyms, each membership started with the promise that it would be better than the last sadly none were, until I joined Kinetics. I was initially worried about the format of PT sessions as a part of a group, previously I worked, as many do, on my own convincing myself that attending and doing some exercise would achieve the desired results. I neednβt have worried about the PT sessions they are amazing. The routine changes every week, which prevents boredom and all the instructors ensure that the sessions are fun and productive. The sessions are attended by members of all ages shapes and sizes and the instructors ensure that what ever your level of fitness you achieve the results you want to achieve. If dietary advice is required it is willingly provided and there are often food challenges set for those who want to focus on diet as well. In summary I have never been so engaged in keeping healthy and feel healthier now than I have done in my much younger years ! Thanks Kinetics team. Less

During lock down my weight increased and I felt I no longer had control over it. Iβve only been going to Kinetics for 14 weeks, after initially signing up for the 6 week challenge. Iβve now lost over 10kg, Iβm feeling stronger and healthier than I have for a long time. My weight is still decreasing, whilst feeling stronger and happier. All staff are supportive. Dean is very encouraging during reviews and adapts food recommendations based on progress. Mark has been fantastic at supporting progress with exercise. Iβm no longer looking to short term fixes. I am finding benefits of being a member of Kinetics both physically and mentally beneficial. I plan to stay as part of the βKinetics Familyβ for a long time to come. Less

There have been parts of the diet that I ve found difficult e g eating vegetables for breakfast, but you do adjust. There is also fantastic support from the 6 week challenge Facebook group, sharing advice, pictures and encouragement. When I started this 6 week challenge I thought this would be a impossible task and bind on my social life, how wrong was I. The staff should be so proud of themselves for the transformation you have achieved from my before and after pictures, I have enjoyed every session I have been to and made some great new friends all that have been in the same position as me, at the beginning I thought I would never have had time to commit but the flexibility proved me wrong. We all have our personal targets and the team help you achieve your goals in a fun positive way, I'm now week 10 I hit 9.7kg loss in the six weeks and now have a total loss of 13kg. I'm now on a slightly different plan which has been set up for me by the team. They monitor me weekly and a full check every 4 to 6 weeks advising as I go along, it's a no brainer if you feel you can't do this, you can. believe me these guys will get you through it not just with encouragement and enthusiasm but with a smile and a great laugh at the same time.!!!!! ππ Less

I bought food weekly and planned my meals in advance which was a huge help. I followed the plan and the gym sessions to the letter. When we finally moved I was excited and nervous to actually start the programme. Iβd tried workouts and meal plans before (Body Pump, Slimming World etc) but I had lost my way with food, especially since putting on pregnancy weight. My son is now almost 3 so I knew I couldnβt use that as an excuse forever!! The meal plan is easy to follow and if followed correctly, and you use a bit of imagination, food can be a pleasure and can be adapted for meals out. You wonβt feel hungry when youβre allowed to eat so much protein each day! I learned a lot about balanced meals and portion control. And my tastes have completely changed now Iβve finished! The workouts are fab, fun and everyone is so friendly. Iβve never honestly been to a gym where everyone, instructors, men, women, newbies and old hats are all so so friendly. Dave and Pete weβre always brilliant, knew my name right away and were always smiling. Half way through and Iβd hardly lost anything, was only about 2% down on body fat. But I pushed through and worked hard and today I weighed out with 5.2% body fat and 3.6kg lost! Also I can fit into size 8 dresses from ten years ago that I wore before I was married or had kids! The 6 week challenge - there's a clue in the name - CHALLENGE I saw the Kinetics post on Facebook and made the best split second decision I've ever made. What did I have to lose? I was depressed with the way I looked and felt and knew I needed something that would give me the kick start I needed to make the lifestyle changes I so desperately needed to get me back on track. When I signed up and was given my target of losing 10kg in 6 weeks (with a 10 day holiday smack bang in the middle) I never though it was possible. But with DETERMINATION, WILLPOWER and SUPPORT I made it through with a total loss of 10.6kg. At the start I was given a food plan, shopping list and enrolled into the 3 weekly workouts. Being a trained chef its easy to add extra things to your meals to make them tasty and experiment with different foods but when you're told to stick to a list of foods which initially look quite boring it instantly becomes more of a challenge. I found ways of making food look and feel like a treat but still be in the plan taking inspiration from the recipes provided by the team. In order achieve the results I had to be strict - if it's not on the list you're not allowed it! Temptation is everywhere but you have to been strong - WILLPOWER! The 3 classes a week are great. They push you in different ways and each week its a new routine so you never get bored and always wonder - what's next! All the trainers are fabulous and push you to your limits. They know everyone works differently and no body is the same or can handle the same things - for this there are alternatives and an opportunity to work at YOUR maximum and not someone else's. YOUR DETERMINATION to succeed and meet YOUR goals! I can't thank the team enough for all their help and highly recommend Kinetics and the 6 week challenge to anyone else who feels the same as I did 6 weeks ago. Alongside all the above, everyone is friendly and approachable - staff, fellow challengers and other gym members. I had no energy and did nothing outside of work but go home, watch TV and sleep. But the tablets had a side effect of weight gain, and I was unhappy enough with my body as it was. I decided enough was enough, and yet I was still bone idle. I saw the advert and I liked the timescale of 6 weeks. After getting in touch with Craig and hearing how it worked I was still sceptical it could really yield the results it promised but decided to have a bit of faith. And it was the right decision. There is no denying that it takes dedication and a hell of a lot of self control, I wasn't 100% on the diet the whole 6 weeks, because sometimes life just got in the way. But I did 100% adore the training sessions. The trainers are epic, and with good humour and expertise they push you to your limits. I always left having had a laugh and a good workout. If you're going to do it then make sure you are doing it for yourself, that is the best motivation. I cannot recommend this place highly enough - it's not just a 6 week challenge, its the start of a new chapter for me. So a special thanks to Dean, Peter, Dave and Alanis for caring enough to learn names and push everyone. I hate cooking and at the beginning it took me lots of time to do those meals. I was really angry with myself for this stupid idea. And angry with them for convincing me to join them. I even didn't have enough time to do this. I work full time, have family, I am not a driver so getting there by train was taking really long. Then I attended the first session. It made me even more angry! I don't think I've ever made such an effort during any exercise. But after a week preparing meals become really quick and easy. Sessions more enjoyable. I was becoming a bit stronger. After 2 weeks I even thought I might like it. 6 weeks passed quickly. I've lost 11.3 kg exercising 3 times a week and eating properly (which is not hard since you have 5 meals a day). Finally for the first time in my life I can do a proper push-up and run 5 km without any stop to catch a breath (I know it's not impressive for most people but I am a smoker so please take it into consideration :)). It was really exciting to be a part of 6 weeks challenge. Personal Trainers are amazing. They can really push you to use your maximum potential. Even if you are tired after long day of work and the thought of going to the gym makes you feel even more tired, you get some extra energy just after few minutes of training. I have met amazing people at Kinetics, very supportive and motivating. I would definitely recommend Kinetics to everyone. Less

The gym sessions are great to as the trainer will push me to my full potential, where at normal gym classes I just used to do the bare minimum as the instructor would just do the routine at the front of class. You never get bored as the sessions as they are always different,and you feel like you're in and out in no time. As it's enjoyable I have had no problem attended every session single session(apart from 2 due to illness)and I'm buzzing that finally for the first time in my life I can do plenty of man press upsππ. As well as the staff, the other members are also great. A great little kinetics family! 100% recommend! Less

When I first started my Kinetics 6 week challenge I was a little bit wary, having done similar challenges before and actually putting weight on (though to be far I did reduce in size.) Well 6 weeks later, challenge completed and lost just over 10kg . So whatβs different about Kinetics, nothing and everything. Nothing in that is about diet and exercise. Everything in that itβs about the detail and how they go about it. So you start with a meal plan that is explained to you, followed up with a shop list. On top of that there is a whole list of information to help you, from recipe books to eating out guides. And it doesnβt stop there. You all post pictures of your shopping followed up by ones of your meals to a dedicated Facebook group. All the time you can ask question both of other challengers and Kinetics staff, who all respond with helpful information. You will be surprised by what you learn about food and how easy it is to eat healthily (one you get used to it!). Again itβs the little things that all add up, e.g. I never really looked at whatβs in a tin tomatoes compared to fresh ones. Hopefully I will never use tin ones again. You then have your weekly training sessions. The group sizes are small enabling the trainers to offer advice to individuals as you perform the routines, if you are struggling with a particular exercise they will give you tips on making it easier, or sometimes harder! They are not just stood talking to a large group as you get in other places. The actually training session are varied each week so each week is a new challenge. On top of all this you actually talk to each other before, during and after the sessions, which builds up a community feeling. I canβt remember ever enjoying been beasted so much, thanks guys! On top of this you have weekly check inβs where your progress is monitored and you can discuss any issues/concerns you have. The trainers are always available to offer advice or explain any queries you may have. Whilst the challenge is hard work its actually very enjoyable and well worth the effort. The 6 week challenge was a much needed reminder of the importance of self care and adopting a healthy approach to life. Being a busy single parent and running my own business I wasn't quite sure how I would find the time to commit to the process.. but as everyone involved was so nice and the results started to show quickly it wasn't difficult at all. The food sheets showed me how to plan and shop well and importantly how to prepare what I was going to eat for the day ahead so that I always organised. I never felt hungry and as a result my bad eating habits dropped off instantly. The exercise classes were really varied, motivating and stretching so you felt a real sense of achievement when you left. The good choice of music helped and all the great coaches gave me the drive to push myself to a whole new level. I'm on a mission to keep ageing at bay and this has all certainly helped. There have been many other benefits too.. as well as hitting my targets so that my body looks younger I have felt more energised throughout each day, I have slept better and therefore been able to focus more at work and my skin has improved too. Just over a week since Iβve finished the challengeβ¦ I just donβt know where to startβ¦I have so many good words to say about Kinetics that I really donβt know with what to start! They have changed my life!!! Since I had my son nearly 5 years ago I start piling up weight and despite trying in the past with 3 or 4 different gym memberships and classes I havenβt achieve in all this years what I have achieved at Kinetics in the past 6 weeks!!! I mightβve not lost too much weight (5.6kgs) but the body fat that Iβve lost overall (5.8%-Body fat) it really reshaped my body ending up to start wearing jeans size 8 that until now were more like size 12-14 and all this in 6 weeks!!! My mood its better too! β Iβm not feeling down as often and I definitely start loving working out. I have never been enthusiastic about gyms but you guys made me change my mindβ¦I have to work out! I have to be out of the house and burn some fat at least once every other day otherwise I donβt feel good. My meals are much healthier tooβ¦Iβve been brain washed ;) I start putting deserts in my basket but till I get to the till I swap them for lean meat or veggies! The workouts with the personal trainers were brilliant!!! All of the personal trainers support you and encourage you to do your best!!! If you have any health problems they will tailor the exercises to your needs; if any other questions regarding meals or what to buy they will help you make the right decision. For myself, another help through the workouts was the Myzone belt that they have for sale; it shows live your effort through the work out and definitely pushed me each time to do more. Itβs been hard the first week till I got used to the meals and workouts but afterwards I start more and more to love it!!! The sessions were amazingβ¦I was going in all tired and not willing to do too much but once starting to exercise I just wanted to keep on going! I have seen consistent results, made permanent changes to my diet and love the group sessions, the variety of exercises and support from trainers. The meal plan is strict, but the team are very supportive and will try and help you with suggestions when you are struggling. The class instructors are funny, understanding and encouraging! I started the 6 week challenge at the beginning of January. I went to meet the team having recently had my 3rd baby and being unhappy with how I looked and felt. I wasn't majorly overweight but personally I was unhappy, so I decided to go for it and sign up for it as I believed it was the motivation I needed. The meal plan was a little daunting at first, however it doesn't take long to get used to it and it has helped me understand how to make better choices about what goes into my body now. The Facebook group is a great support and is definitely a massive motivation. To see what others are eating and how they are coping helps to spur you on. I would say the classes are the best part, 3 sessions a week at a time to suit you, with great instructors! All with different inspirational personalities but with the same goal to help you achieve yours! I can't thank the team enough as I had my final weigh-in this morning. My goal was to lose 5% body fat. I started at 33%, aiming to get down to 28% in the 6 weeks, and I am absolutely over the moon to say I reached my goal this morning and my final body fat measurement is 27.7%!!! (8.6 kgs or 18.5 lbs in weight) I really am grateful and would not have been able to achieve this alone, and in 6 weeks! So a big thank you to the team Dean, Craig, Dave, Peter & Charlie! Well what can i say..firstly i was not happy with my size..yup i was overweight and needed to do sommat not just for my health but for me..so i signed up for the knetics challenge..i never checked reviews etc just said lets have a look ..if ok..do it...met craig at the gym he told me what it entailed and b4 i new it week one commenced..boy what a body shock..lol..yup aching all over ..feeling like this is not for me..but then after week one i got weighed..i nearly lost a stone..week 2 commenced my aching stopped and i began enjoying the sessions..charlie and dean the staff were a credit to the gym..it was hard work and they kept you on track..lost again in this week..got to know my group members and we all dug deep and trained hard..by week 4 i had achieved the goal i had been given..i now needed something else to aim for..dean told me the record weight loss was 29llb..being competitive this was my nxt task..to smash it..i was feeling fitter..healthier..clothes began to fit me again..i was even more alert..my wife is also pleased..lmaoοΏ½οΏ½οΏ½..we even had a bit of banter while training..well week 6 was here and i had my final weigh in..yup well chuffed..i had lost..32llb..which is 14.5k.g. wow..smashed the record..could not believe it..οΏ½οΏ½οΏ½οΏ½οΏ½οΏ½οΏ½οΏ½i have got to thank all the staff at knetics..also the people who took part..the advice on nutition and finally putting this body into nice clothes again..if you need to loose weight..gain weight..get fitter..get faster rven these are the guys to see..once again ..thankyou..oh yeah what about that back massage for being the biggest looser???οΏ½οΏ½οΏ½οΏ½ Less

This became a great way of motivating each other and having a bit of fun. The sessions that were put on by the personal trainers became harder each week but were always enjoyable. Each week consisted of a different workout which contained a variety of exercises. At the end of the 6 weeks I managed to hit my goal and I found myself enjoying exercising again and learning to eat the right foods at the right time. I would definitely recommend the challenge to anyone who is looking to change their body and mindset in a fully supportive environment with great people. Less

Still got a long way to go to reach my goal weight but now I can believe in myself and know I'll get there. Great place. I've been a member now approximately four months and I am really impressed with Dean and Craig (the owners). They have put together a great gym with everything you need and plenty of classes. It is based in the hotel but membership is available to non residents. There is also a beauty salon that I haven't used.... More
