I had been needing a boost to lose weight after a bad year, when my Mum died. I took the plunge after encouragement from another 2 members I knew and signed up for the 6 week challenge. I started off amazingly and lost 3 kg in the first week. I plateaued a bit after that, but have lost 5 kg in the 6 weeks, despite a weeks skiing, and a week of birthday celebrations for the big 60. I particularly enjoy the gym classes, as you work really hard for 45 minutes, and feel virtuous for the rest of the day!
There have been parts of the diet that I ve found difficult e g eating vegetables for breakfast, but you do adjust.
There is plenty of support from all the trainers, whether it be face to face, by text message or an answer to a query on the facebook support page. There is also fantastic support from the 6 week challenge Facebook group, sharing advice, pictures and encouragement.
I have done weight loss schemes in the past, but this one is definitely the most fun. If you are wondering.... go for it!
