I was initially drawn to the Seacoast Listening Lounge because I knew I needed to talk out/through some heavy weights I've been carrying, that I didn't need therapy for, but that I needed a truly objective ear for, and my listening session with Eric was exactly that. I didn't need to censor what I was sharing because I didn't have to worry about she might be thinking or feeling. I could just say it, release it, and relieve it. What a gift! It's been a week and I'm still feeling the benefits of the session. I'm so glad I gifted this to myself and intend to return to the Listening Lounge on a regular basis.

I attended a group Smash Out event at the Seacoast Listening Lounge. It was really cool. Owner Erin knows how to make you feel seen/heard. I met a few wonderful ladies and heard their stories, etc. We laughed, we cried. I felt bonded with them. One of them even reached out to me the day after to check in on something that I vented about. If you need a safe space to go and be heard with zero judgement, this is the place for you.

Today was my first listening session. I like that Erin asks "how can I listen to you today?" I wanted conversation, so that's what we did. We talked for a while, I got some perspective on things, and I left with some ideas on building community within my life. The time I spent chatting with Erin was productive and valuable. I will definitely book another session and am excited to try out the group smash.
