Petey Performance

I came to train with Peter following my total dissatisfaction with my sports clinic's ACL rehabilitation program and my overall progress in the months after my ACL operation. I really felt I needed a more tailored rehabilitation program rather than the generic one I had been given, which, in hindsight, was getting me nowhere fast.Everything changed when I reached out to Peter. From our very first video call, I knew I was in great professional hands. Having been through the ACL rehabilitation process himself, there genuinely wasn't a question I could ask that he couldn't answer. He also understood that my injury wouldn't just affect me physically but mentally as well. Having access to a sports psychologist through his program turned out to be another huge asset in helping me get back on the pitch.Rehabilitation is a tough and often lonely process. Personally, I struggle with motivation at the best of times, and while I certainly wasn't a model student when it came to doing my rehab, Peter always kept me accountable. He was always quick to answer any questions I had, checked in regularly, and adjusted my programme whenever I needed it. That level of support made a huge difference and meant I never felt like I was going through the process alone. His training app also helped me track my progress, which motivated me to stay consistent and keep improving.Working with Peter over the past year has taught me that the rehabilitation process can actually be enjoyable, but that consistency is key. I also completed a couple of in-person sessions with him, and the knowledge I took away particularly around running mechanics and game-speed training is something that will benefit my own training for years to come. Thanks to Peter's guidance and expertise, I am now back wearing an Irish jersey and secured my very first international Tag Rugby cap this past July. Not only did I make it back onto the pitch, but I've returned as a stronger, faster athlete who no longer thinks twice about her knee.My advice to any athlete considering working with Peter is simple: do your future self a favour and start with him now. My only regret throughout my rehabilitation journey is that I didn't start training with Peter from day one.
