I have been going to Movement Solutions for about 6 months after years of physical therapy and chiropractic sessions with others. Movement Solutions' focused approach to my specific lower back, hip, and sciatic pain has been more helpful than the years with the other practices. After three years of slowly increasing back pain, I went to Movement Solutions because carrying and car-topping my kayak was becoming quite painful, spoiling my favorite outdoor activity. After three months, the back pain is almost gone, and by continuing the back/core/leg exercises, I think I'm on the road to total recovery. I'm pleased enough with the back that we just switched focus to the problem shoulder - working to strengthen/stabilize it.I've had sessions with all three doctors. All are very knowledgeable, personable and fun to work with - but a special shout-out to my main Doctor Monica. Expect a very customized exercise plan with clear coaching on how to get muscles to engage and how to lift/move safely and efficiently. All sessions are one-on-one and the PT's observe and listen closely. The at-home workouts are well-thought-out and challenging. I have confidence in the technical expertise of this group, and I enjoy the sessions working with these doctors. Plus, feeling much more strength and much less pain is great motivation to put in the necessary work.

Dr. Nia was very kind, knowledgeable, personable and detailed. Everyone at Movement Solutions is super friendly and caring. I was only there for a short time and my cheif concern improved a great deal. I got stronger and learned ways to improve my physical strength. I recommend them to anyone needing physical therapy. I will try to be brief, but it is difficult to describe the value and effectiveness of Movement Solutions’ holistic approach.Beginning with the initial free consultation, a revealing evaluation was done. A plan was presented with clear and understandable metrics for progress and success. This is not a factory assembly line with shared therapists and limited repetitive exercises. I am continuing with the plan and making tremendous progress.During my time in the clinic, I have a dedicated doctor of PT focused on me 100%. Think personal trainer, but for PT and your recovery. Outside the clinic, there is homework. Yes, homework, every day except the Lord’s Day. (“If you do not do the homework, you will not be successful.”) The homework changes based upon my progress and the most recent clinic visit.Yes, it is expensive but effective. If you have been through unsuccessful traditional PT and offered “live with it” or expensive surgery, this is a valuable alternative. Have a free initial consultation. Use your deductible and copays on a real plan with real results.This is working for me and my torn Achilles.

Movement Solutions is not your mama's physical therapy office. They DON'T do the typical, terrible treatment (multiple patients at a time with one professional, minimum standards for performance, and making clients feel like "just a number").They DO provide individualized treatment and attention, aim to meet or exceed patient expectations for high physical performance, and get to know clients on a more personal level, with care and kindness. This consideration is evident in every phone call, text message, and personal interaction, from the office administrators to the therapists themselves.I wouldn't go anywhere else for PT.
