Tri Cities Detailing

I brought a Subaru in for a full interior detail after purchasing it for my son, who is in the military. The company’s five-star rating gave me confidence that they would do a great job, but unfortunately, that wasn’t my experience. When I picked up the car, I noticed quite a few areas that hadn’t been cleaned well, with visible grime in cracks and crevices. Montiae could tell I wasn’t satisfied and offered to keep the car longer, which I appreciated. However, they had already had it for two days, and I needed to drop it off in Seattle the next day for military transport to my son’s base. He then offered to cut the price in half, which I accepted. After getting the car home, I found even more missed areas, including grime around buttons and cup holders. The seat belts hadn’t been cleaned at all, which really surprised me for a full interior detail. Beyond the carpets, seats, and basic wipe-down, the job fell well short of what I expected. I ended up spending another hour cleaning the missed areas myself with a brush and soapy water.I also noticed a scratch on the door after the detail. At first, I wasn’t sure if it had been there beforehand, but after reviewing photos taken before I dropped the car off, I confirmed it was not there previously. Also, disappointing. This happened in the spring, and a busy summer of travel delayed my review, but I still wanted to share my experience. Montiae seemed like a genuinely nice person, and I appreciated his offer to reduce the price. Unfortunately, the quality of the work just wasn’t there, and the service didn’t live up to the company’s five-star reputation.
