I had the pleasure of being part of Chris’ first SSF class. It was a great learning experience and I definitely recommend this class for anyone wanting to get their SSF certificate and it is also good to know he offers the CCW class and CCW refresher class for when it’s renewal time. Chris makes the class fun and is very knowledgeable in the current firearms laws as well as with firearms in general. Chris was a great instructor! His examples made the material easy to understand and he took the time to make sure everyone was comfortable and understood what was being taught. You can truly see his passion for the subject, and he did an excellent job of meeting everyone where they were, regardless of their experience level. Highly recommend Chris for anyone looking for a knowledgeable, patient, and approachable instructor.

Chris is a great instructor. The class portion was very informative and helped remind me of a lot that I learned in my first class.The shooting part was good. I have never been to an indoor shooting range and was somewhat intimidated but Chris was helpful and did a great job explaining everything. I will definitely recommend Chris and Alpha Pistol to friends.

My daughter took this class right before I did and recommended Chris. The class was great the way he explained everything was easy to understand. Makes it good cause it’s very important that you know how to shoot and what everything is on a handgun. Otherwise you should not be shooting anything if you don’t understand. So that being said I would recommend Chris to be your instructor.
