I have engaged a ‘big’ solar company( found out later, they are Queensland based) to install panels and Tesla batteries to my new built. This company sub contract the job to a Syd base solar company- communication with this first sub contractor was extremely appalling and not to mention their wiring of the panels INFERIOR. It was soon discovered that the Tesla battery was not operable upon arrival. Tesla honoured their warranty and sent us Balm Electrical (due to our experience with the first sub contractor). Their battery technician, Wen, was so professional and knowledgeable. He discovered that the panels were now actually posing the problem and batteries are working fine. He took the time to show me how to charged the batteries through settings until the panels were fixed. Fast fwd a couple of weeks later, QLD ‘big’ solar co. fired the first sub contractors and sent us Balm Electrical solar panel tech, Selva, to fix the botched job of the first subcontractors. He was so reassuring and told me - ‘I will only leave when the system is working’. True to his word, the system was up and running after a few hours on the job and I was told the wiring was a mess. If only I have encountered Balm Electrical the first time round, I only need to write ‘ HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED’ and nothing else. Would have given more stars if I could. Thank you especially to Wen and Selva from Balm Electrical for being straightforward, easy and knowledgeable to deal with.
