My wife joined Soul Fitness a year and a half ago. I was content to keep doing my gym thing. But by 3 months I was AMAZED at the shape she was in and I realized this program works! I then also realized I had allowed myself to get soft during covid and didn't feel good about it. I've always beenĀ active but felt a need for something more motivating thanĀ the gym toĀ get back in shape. So a year ago I joined too. In my first six weeks I went from 165lbs to 148lbs (I'm a 5'-8" male, age 54). Since then I've been building back muscle, flexibility and endurance. I'm now at my college fitness level at 152lbs. I like how I look and more importantly how I feel. I attend classes 3 days a week. The secret to this program however is the nutrition education combined with the workouts. Small changes to my diet made a huge difference. The group structure keeps me accountable to my fitness and my nutrition. TheĀ classes are fun, social, challenging for sure, never the same, and in the process I've made new friends.
