Last Saturday night we had our son's 21st party for 50 guests at LaBello. We were so happy with the way everything went! From the planning ahead of time, making sure the tables were set out perfectly and ensuring the food was served hot and fresh, John, Perry, Amelia and the rest of the team worked hard to make it a wonderful night for all our guests. We went here to dine in after my daughter’s first Holy Communion. There were 8 of us. I knew they were busy on a Saturday so expected the service to be very slow. Honestly, don’t bother with delivery. They take over 1.5 hours and the pizza is cold. They do make great pizzas and I will still eat from here but only in the restaurant. Visited with family for a catch up recently on a Friday night. What a great find! Service was great, food arrived fast and was very tasty and fresh as it should be and duly all polished off. Fantastic service and pizza! When I walked in I was greeted warmly by a kind and helpful staff member. The restaurant itself has a pleasant modern design with an open floor plan that gives it a spacious feeling. My pizza was ready in under 10mins and it was amazing. The food was, and always has been exceptional. The restaurant has recently been renovated and looks fantastic. The restaurant capacity has at least doubled if not tripled. One change is you now have to go up to the counter and order your meal if you are dining in. This is problematic because of the number of people ordering, collecting or paying for takeaway added to the number of people dining in ordering and paying for their meals. The same people at the counter dealing with orders and payments were also answering the phones and doing takeaway orders. It was Friday night and both takeaway and dining in was booming. Total bedlam at the counter. Phone orders, takeaway and table service would be better off having dedicated staff and remove the chaos at the counter. Less

My husband actually did a gas delivery to the shop tonight and made a last minute order which was prepared for us beautifully, it was so hot and fresh which made the drive home hard to handle as we wanted to dive into the box straight away! Pizza is always delicious and made quickly. Unfortunately last night I was very disappointed. I ordered through Ozfoodhunter and made a note for one pizza to be made without cheese. Once we'd picked up the pizzas and gotten back home we realised that the pizza had been made with cheese on it, meaning my friend had to go out and order some food from somewhere else. When I called La Bello and asked if we could have it re-made the girl on the phone literally said to me "it's not really our fault, so we won't be able to do that for you". It turned out that the note I made on Ozfoodhunter when I ordered hadn't been given to La bello so I understand what she was saying, but I was very disappointed with the customer service and them not offering me any sort of fix for the issue.
