I just sat quietly, watched 2 episodes of, Unsolved Mysteries on Netflix, and she was finished! In my head I just wanted to pay and leave without looking because even with a mask, I figured that when I didn't like it, she would be able to tell by facial expression, but she insisted on showing me. When I finally looked in the mirror, I LOVED IT!!!! I was shocked and appalled at how cute it turned out! I felt bad because I asked her to do waist length, they told that it will be an upcharge, I said okay, but after I realized that the upcharge would have been her tip money. I loved my hair, didn't give a tip, and she was still nice. My hair was even passed my butt, I never had hair that long, but I was feeling myself after she pointed it out! haha! She planned to run and get the hair while her sister washed and prepped my hair. Day of appointment I arrived on time at 10am. I gave Maya $50 to run and get the hair while her sister washed and prepped. 40 minutes later Maya returns with the wrong type of hair (crochet hair). The sister agreed Passion Twist can not be done with this hair. 11am Maya goes back out to find the correct hair. 12pm she arrives with only 3 packs of the correct type of hair, but she could only find 24 inch hair...which is way too long. Passed my butt and heavy. 12:40pm her sister finally starts braiding and Maya headed out to get more packs of hair. Yes, 2.5 hours from the agreed appointment time. 4pm they finally finish. Pretty decent job. $60 ($30 on amazon) for the hair and $180 for the passion twist. Let me also mention that they ran out of hair and had to use a different color(black) to blend in with the correct hair in order to finish. I would have left at 11am, but Maya already had my $50 for the hair. Also awkward to get up and leave because the set up is in her apartment ( which is no issue if providing good service) I am rating them two stars. One for the decent job the sister did on my hair, and one for the piece of bread she gave me while I waited. If you can get ahold of the sister and get her to do your hair, then do that. Less
