Problem with sensors and sun, garage door closes but stops at bottom and goes back up. Tried many DIY’s solution, nothing helped. Called Affix garage door repair, David called back immediately and came to troubleshoot same day. He inspected whole system and agreed prob was sensors. He looked for sun shield online and told me exactly which one to buy. When it arrived i installed them but door was hitting sensor out of alignment. Called David and again he came the same day and made adjustments to the brackets and completely fixed the problem. I highly recommend Affix garage door services. 5 STAR COMPANY & SERVICE! We have had the best experience with AFFIX Garage Door Service and David their service tech. My past experiences with other garage door service companies have been horrible with over charging for poor service and charging up front just to come out and estimate the repairs with the enticement they will apply it to the cost of the repair. BS! They inflate the actual repair cost and then show you a discount, taking off the up-front service call cost, don’t fall for it! The last company we called put in the wrong size springs which was causing the door not to be weight balanced and noisy. David immediately picked up on it and was able to make an adjustment to make it safer-balanced and quieter. We opted for the repairs David recommended, and he did not try to inflate the job for more profit. New 6” Nylon Rollers really helped to reduce the door noise and smoother operation of the door. A new exterior perimeter seal and a new bottom edge door seal made the door more weather tight. This is a family-owned business that is honest and they deliver the service and quality resulting in more business and David is family! The repairs and upgrades we opted for have our 28-year-old door working great! We will be calling David back when the time comes to replace the entire door. Call This Company! You won’t be sorry.
