My company was a subcontractor for Casaplex. We did alot of work for them and over the past 4 years they would take forever to pay us. We were always supposed to be paid on a NET 30 schedule but most of the time it would take them more than 90 days to pay. On multiple occasions it took them over 4 months to pay us. The only reason we kept working for them was because they had a few employees who worked for them that we really liked working with and they would always make sure we would get paid. Well since last year those people have left Casaplex and we finally had enough and stopped working for them also. They still owe us a little more than $2,000 for work we completed back in July of last year and I have been calling, emailing, texting and sending letters to anyone with Casaplex to get the money they owe us. I have been trying to avoid suing them because I really don’t want the hassle over $2k but they have kept ignoring me.I highly advise anyone considering being a subcontractor to reconsider. They are incredibly unorganized, they keep going thru employees, they can’t keep their employees and they suck at paying. Hopefully they will see this and finish paying us what they owe.
