It’s a great place to boost your motivation, especially if you’re someone trying to get back into working out after a long break. I started seeing Ethan 6 months ago after being stuck on a fast food diet with no exercise for years because I was reluctant to going to the gym by myself and didn’t know where to start. It has greatly improved my everyday lifestyle and outlook on health. Ethan is very knowledgeable and accommodating (to my injury’s) in getting the best work out. I decided I wanted a Trainer to help me get into a strong habit of working out. Ethan proved to be a valuable resource to gain knowledge and build confidence in the gym environment, which has allowed me to really push on with gaining strength and losing fat. We started with a handful of sessions in their excellently equipped home gym space to really gauge my capabilities, and moved to online coaching which was a great financial option for me. Together with customized programming and weekly video check ins, Ethan provided the encouragement and accountability to really build a healthy relationship with the gym. I now feel well equipped to move forward with my personal fitness goals, and will definitely look to Ethan in the future if and when my fitness goals advance.

I worked with Ethan during an 8 week virtual personal training program (in actuality I finished 7 weeks of the program before I left on vacation). Right from the beginning I was impressed with the process, after filling out some questionnaires we had a zoom meeting to talk over my goals and come up with a plan. It was really nice that he listened and included me in the planning. I really felt that it was a collaborative process and he really listened to my concerns and worked me through them. My biggest fear was tracking my nutrition and sticking to a diet! It turns out the way Ethan set up my program, following the diet was very easy and easy to document it on the apps he had me using. On the exercise side, he was very good and giving me modifications and alternate exercises that worked better with my injuries. During the 7 weeks, I lost 10 lbs, gained 4 lbs of muscle and lost 14.5 lbs of body fat (o lost 5.6% body fat)! I was blown away at how easy Ethan made the whole process. During the whole program, I was never hungry and the workouts were very manageable. I very much enjoyed the whole process. I would highly recommend working with Ethan to anyone wanting to meet your health and fitness goals.

Training with Ice and Ethan at HFS has been a game changer for me and worth every cent! I was previously taking a bunch of group classes with mixed results. But after a few months with HSF, I feel stronger, more capable, and more knowledgeable. The gym is clean, bright, and well equipped. But most importantly, Ice and Ethan take the time to tailor training to my needs, goals, and lifestyle.

I have been working with Ethan for a year and a half now. Not only does Ethan help me achieve my fitness goals, his priority is preventing injuries, which has changed my way of working out and viewing exercise. Ethan has helped me understand and plan nutrition, even while working a grueling work schedule. While training with Ethan, he is easy to talk to and always manages to make working out fun. Ethan is always my biggest cheerleader during and outside of our sessions. I would recommend him to anyone who is considering starting or continuing their fitness journey.

I started out not knowing a thing about training but Ethan has taught me so much. He’s very supportive, but will push you when you need it!
