Mick in sales was great — couldn’t fault him one bit. However, after spending $32k on a tray and toolbox setup, there are a few things I’m not satisfied with.1. The custom internal storage solution doesn’t have drawer slides, which makes the drawers hard to pull out and they regularly get stuck. Most toolbox setups include drawer slides as standard, so I didn’t think I needed to specifically ask for them.2. One of the toolboxes actually does have a drawer with slides fitted, which makes it even stranger that the rest don’t. It proves they can be done.3. The bolts used to mount the AdBlue fill port have already started rusting after only 4 months.If you want something strong and heavy duty, I would still recommend Buffalo. But I’d also strongly recommend getting every single detail written down and confirmed before paying.I raised the drawer slide issue with Sam Anderson, but he wouldn’t consider fitting them even after I explained how common they are. The response I got was: “you have heavy duty boxes.” I don’t see how adding drawer slides suddenly makes them not heavy duty — especially when there’s a video on YouTube of him bouncing on the trundle drawer to show how strong it is.

This is the 4th job Buffalo have done for me, obviously I have been extremely happy with the first experience and have been enjoying the ride ever since. Initially I was NSW based and had to make th journey to QLD to have the work done - WELL worth the trip!!!They build a quality, strong, very presentable package. In fact one batwing door canopy they built, I tried to destroy by pulling down a Motel awning with an open door - should also have destroyed the canopy, but a bit of panel beating - in the bush - and we were back in action to finish our round Australia trip!

We have had 2 custom Buffalo trays, one on a service Mazda BT50 single cab and the other on a service Hilux extra cab both have been excellent trays and without issue. Mick is great to deal with and only happy to answer our questions. Currently discussing another build.

Over the moon with the quality build of my tray and canopy. Mick, Rian and the team at Buffalo were patient with the delays while I was waiting on delivery of my ute. The powder coat finish withstood the punishment of blue metal while I raked it out of the tray. They're more than willing to help with any after sale questions. Quite happy with the tray from Buffelo very solid, the 85ltr Diersel tank is great and very well made, water tank is good all fuel and water fillers work well and nice touch with teir own billet filler caps. tray sides are very solid set with stainless latches. side toolboxes good and water and dust resistant with slight adjustment. Staff there were very helpfull very tidy place.

After using Buffalo Equip for a prior build, couldn't go past this local company to custom build and fit out my latest Ute. The Sales Team are responsive to all queries and the workmanship is spot on. Highly recommend, as no project is too big or too small. A genuine company who cares for their customers.
