Had to go to the office to ask for 2 coffee pods for Keurig and fresh towels...were told that this is not provided for "overnighters!"Private balcony was a patio shared with neighboring room and entire "garden area."Mosquitoes attacked from parking lot to private balcony making the outdoors entirely unusable.Pod door was left open to allow mosquitoes into the hallways entering our room as the door was opened midday.Warned at check-in about using their white towels for clay cleaning in case shoes got dirty...Spent $798.75 for 2 nights including a service fee of $28.00.🤯Got to the room at 10:28 PM had to call the concierge due to obnoxious loud patio chatter outside our room.Resumed 15 minutes later, when we had to call back despite a 9:00 PM quiet time.🤷‍♀️Extremely dissatisfied and disappointed for this misrepresentation of this property, management and service.Stay away!

I had a lovely stay at Lantern Light Inn! I enjoyed it so much that I extended my stay. It's quietly tucked in off the street and beautifully decorated with plants, water features, fairy lights, white linens, and hanging chairs. It would be perfect for a small wedding! It's spacious and quiet. I spent a lot of time gently swaying in the hanging chairs reading, meditating, and calming my nervous system. The owner and staff are truly wonderful! I needed some extra support while I was there and they were very helpful and accommodating. The room was clean, comfortable, the water pressure was good, and, most importantly, I felt very safe there. The room I was in had sky lights above the bed—lovely lighting and a great way to help you get started with your day, but if you're a late riser, bring an eye mask. I will definitely be returning to Sedona and the Lantern Light Inn!

The owner, Dharmesh, is a kind, friendly, and professional gentleman. I was looking around town to see where I could gift my parents to stay for their anniversary. After speaking with him and seeing a room, I knew this was the right fit. I feel it’s a great location for convenience, right by a gas station and grocery store, trails, restaurants, acai bowl business, and many more. all of the major Areas in Sedona are within 15 minutes or less. It’s such a quaint and nice place to stay. It definitely has charm, and I love the outdoor swings, outdoor water features, and just the general area to relax and rest outside of the room.My parents love their stay, parking could not be easier, and the whole process overall was very easy.Thank you, we will be recommending you to others!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Vortex Suite, which was exceptionally spacious and tastefully appointed. The king bed offered the ideal balance of support and comfort, and the shower pressure was outstanding. The exterior common spaces and landscaping were beautifully designed, creating a serene and inviting atmosphere. The staff were gracious and accommodating when we arrived earlier than planned, and the fellow guests we encountered were equally pleasant. Overall, the property feels warm, stylish, and thoughtfully curated, and we would highly recommend it.

We stayed at 153 Cathedral House and we were in awe every minute of our stay. The views are spectacular, Oak Creek is beautiful and the wildlife was breathtaking. We saw a mom dear with a baby, javelina with little babies, an eagle pair with an eagllette, bats at night eating bugs so they wouldn't bite us, stars and endless beautiful bird species and little lizards also helping to keep the eco system in balance. This is literally my new favorite place to stay away from home. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Everything about our wedding was a fairytale at lantern light in. Kari was amazing at working through things with me in my unique out-of-state situation and management change over the course of planning our wedding. All of our guests couldn't get over the beauty of the venue and the surrounding Sedona area. Though you're in the middle of town, the high jasmine vines, artistic gates, and stone water features sweep you up into a secluded garden feel. The rooms were very comfortable, and all my guests were overjoyed. Best AC and water pressure of any place I've stayed. A unique, accommodating, fairly priced AZ venue!

Stunning little boutique hotel in Sedona! Great location and surprisingly quiet for being in such a central spot. Room was beautiful and stocked with thoughtful items. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous, so peaceful. The gardens are meticulously maintained, offering so many lovely spots to drink some coffee, read, have a quiet conversation, or just relax. I saw they hold private events/weddings there and I would go back in time and have mine there! Such a beautiful space that is clearly loved and cared for. 10/10!

My husband and I were super excited to stay here for our honeymoon. Sadly, by our first night, we both realized this would not be the serene experience we hoped for.For the price we paid, there was an accumulation of things that left us feeling pretty disappointed and ready to leave.We spent $900+ for a two night stay. On the first night, we noticed the toilet had ... brown marks ... on the outside of the toilet bowl. We reached out to management to request a cleaning, and Kari came out quickly after the office had already closed to address it. That was very much appreciated -- as far as service goes, she was great! -- but that the toilet wasnt thoroughly cleaned in the first place was pretty unsettling.Then, we noticed some of the white bathroom towels had baked-in stains from previous guests. The towels had clearly been washed and I'm thinking it was just a deep stain that was hard to remove (it looked like makeup) -- but still, after the marks on the toilet, the bathroom felt really uncomfortable to use.I dont think the private patio ended up being as private as we thought, either. We did enjoy the fire pit provided outside, it was a very nice touch and I'm glad we got some use out of it. But separating us from our room neighbors was a transparent divider. We could walk up to the doors of our neighbors and go on their patios if we wanted. It felt like a nice community space for sure, but calling the patios "private" on their website seemed misleading.The final nail in the coffin for me, though, was the amount we could hear our neighbors. I do believe in my heart that our room neighbors were trying to be as respectful and quiet as possible, just as we were. But the walls are so thin, it felt impossible to avoid the noise. Talking at room level, running the shower, watching something on the TV -- we could hear it all. And at 6AM, our neighbors turned their shower on, and hearing the water running was loud enough to wake me up. I don't blame our room neighbors for that -- but it was so loud. I didn't get the best sleep here because of the noise.Overall, we wouldnt stay here again. The things we did like about our stay (the comfy bed and the nice service) were not enough to sell us on the thought of coming back here for our next visit to Sedona. Bummer :(

Sanctuary Room 119 honest review.The property itself is very charming. The garden area and swings are nice, and the staff has been helpful. The room is a nice size, the bathroom is large, and the AC works well.However, there are a few significant downsides. The walls are extremely thin — I can clearly hear conversations from the office and other parts of the property, which makes it difficult to relax. The bed is not very comfortable, and there was no fitted sheet — just a flat sheet covering the mattress that shifts and bunches during the night. Two pillows didn’t even have pillowcases on them. It’s a little bit gross.Additionally, the shampoo, conditioner, & body soap provided was a very poor quality while the hand soap was molten brown.Overall, the property has potential and charm, but the noise level, bedding setup, and lack of decent toiletries made the stay less comfortable than expected. Would not return.

The Lantern Light was such a great spot to stay in Sedona. The location was perfect, super convenient, right in the town off the main road. Lots of places close by to walk or drive to. The staff were so friendly and helpful, too. I forgot my computer mouse in the room after checking out and they mailed it to me free of charge. The rooms are also very clean and cute with a lovely garden area surrounding them. It feels private and we sat out on the swinging chairs with blankets they provided and heat lamps. It was lovely :)

I booked this for a 10-year anniversary get away for me and my wife. The pictures online are very nice. The property outside is definitely as nice as it looks. However, I really should have been more aware of the room photos, at least the single bed rooms. The room we booked had 5 photos and I believe 3 of the 5 were of the same bed at different angles. But I overlooked it because the property outside looked so nice. Well, that was the beginning of my mistake which unfortunately only compounded throughout our 2 night stay, which we opted to only stay 1 and then go home.The room was super small with this gigantic king bed frame as the center piece. Whatever, I had a feeling it was small but this was pretty obnoxious for the room size to have such a bulky frame. As soon as we arrived we were fighting off mosquitoes and gnats. We look on the bed side table and find a mosquito repellent essential oil "gun". That was our first massive red flag, which I'm extremely curious how no one seems to mention this issue in the reviews. There were electric flyswatters out on the patio, so this is obviously a problem. The bathroom had probably 10-15 flying around or hanging out in the shower which was disgusting to encounter. We again looked passed it and struck it up as an inconvenience we could deal with.Fast forward to after we returned from dinner. We get back, encountered by the same flying friends even though we've probably killed 20 by this point only to realize the walls are paper thin. Everyone outside enjoying the weather sounded like they were out on our personal patio. We decided to go outside as well and enjoy the weather and fireplace table on our personal patio, only to discover the propane was empty. It's after the time the last employee in the office is gone by this point so there wasn't anyone to ask for a replacement and we didn't want to go out in the general area to try other tables. We wanted to utilize our private area that we paid for ($830 or so for (2) nights, really one since we abandoned ship).We say whatever again and go inside to unwind, only to again realize how paper thin the walls are. Every conversation our room neighbor had was very clear, even over the TV. We felt like we had to whisper the entire night because we didn't want to annoy our neighbors which is ridiculous.Now the middle of the night comes and we have to deal with screaming drunks from 10pm - 2am.Fast forward to the morning after a lovely night. We are woken up at 7am to the sound of our room neighbors turning on their bathroom fan and shower. The fan sounds like it's in our room and the rushing water is clearly overhead over our room and it's obnoxiously loud.It was at this point we said forget it, we're leaving today. I went to go to the office to discuss the issues and check out and they don't open until 9am. I texted the number which is allegedly the owner and said we're trying to check out after having a horrific night and we would rather end our trip early and go home. They replied later in the morning around maybe 9:30 and said something to the effect of, "no worries there's no official checkout policy. Thanks for staying with us!" I think there was a heart emoji thrown in too. I wasn't even looking for a refund or anything, never mentioned it in my initial text and they didn't even have the desire to ask questions or ask me why we had such an awful stay that we would rather fork over $400 to literally NOT stay another night. I was blown away and didn't even engage further via text because I could tell we would get nowhere. That was my final attempt for them to save face and not post a full review of how our stay was. I maybe would have bumped it to a 2 or a 3 if they seemed to even show a single ounce of care. But here we are, a full review of our entire one night stay which in the end cost us $830+ since we decided to opt out of our last night.Long story summed up for those who don't want to read everything :Pros: (not mentioned above because it's very little)- Hot shower- Nice propertyCons:- Everything above
