My daughter (age 12) and I have been with Gracie Barra in Dawsonville for a couple of months and we absolutely love it. The diligence of the trainers and quality of the curriculum is evident in the ability of even entry-level students. The curriculum is practical, structured, and fast-paced; I've learned more useful self-defense in a month at this school than in a year in other martial arts classes. Among the students, the atmosphere is encouraging and supportive, with competitve opportunities for those interested. I would recommend Gracie Barra in Dawsonville for anyone interested in self-defense, fitness, or competition.
