Miss Lauren has been providing physical therapy for my son, Robert ,who is a 16 year old with cerebral palsy. My name is Caroline and as Robert’s Mom, I can say that Robert loves Miss Lauren more than words can say.
There are not enough words in the English language to describe Miss Lauren. She is kind, compassionate, intelligent, assertive, inspirational, cheerful and most of all, she is the epitome of what a physical therapist should be. Robert and I think of her as family.
Miss Lauren and Robert are the perfect match as far as a patient/physical therapist team go. As a mother , I love, admire and appreciate their connection. Robert has sensory issues and does not connect easily to just anyone. He connects to Miss Lauren since she is an expert with sensory integration issues.
Robert sees Miss Lauren every Thursday afternoon at 4pm. Most days he is tired and does not always want to participate with his physical therapy session. Well, let me tell you, Miss Lauren works her magic and wakes him up. There are often times she can push him to do more than usual, despite the fatigue. He always leaves Therafit Rahab with a smile and he is always proud of himself for all he has accomplished during each session.
There are many times while at home I will motivate Robert to walk or complete his exercise using Miss Lauren’s name. I simply do not know what I would do without Miss Lauren. She is a Godsend and a true angel. We are blessed to know her and love her as the best therapist ever.
Love,
Caroline and Robert
