I was looking for other options other than having a total knee replacement, which I do not want to have. North Star Medical hosted a seminar on knee pain and that’s when I decided to sign up and give it a try.I believe it’s a combination of things. I have a knee brace to help align the knee and the doctor showed me how to wear that properly and how often to wear it. I have the nerve plate, that I use twice a day, I get physical therapy and do exercise exercises to strengthen the muscles and the area. I also get an injection that helps cushion the knee to help with pain relief. I believe this combination of things have helped me.It’s been over a year since I have gone on a walk, but I was able to go for a walk with my granddaughter the other day walked about a half a mile total going to towards the beach and back and then again. I also went to the Ordway walking downtown a long ways from our parking area. My knee felt good and I felt aligned and balanced.I’m keeping my original knee!

Since coming in my pain has reduced so I am able to move faster. The staff is all very friendly and helpful. They are accommodating with my busy schedule and flexible when needed.

I absolutely love this chiropractic and rehab clinic! Everyone is always so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely cares about how you’re doing. One of my favorite things about coming here is how thorough and detailed their care is. They really take the time to understand where my pain is coming from, explain what they’re doing and why, and pay attention to how my body responds throughout the process. I never feel like I’m being rushed through an appointment or given the same treatment as everyone else. My care plan has been personalized specifically to me, my pain, and what my body needs, and they continue to adjust it based on my progress. Since starting my treatment plan, I’ve noticed a significant decrease in my pain and a huge improvement in how I feel overall. I always feel listened to and cared for, and I’m so thankful for the entire team!

So far so good. I've been going to Northstar for a few weeks and they've been adjusting my neck to try to get more overall motion in my neck and decrease headaches and dizziness. I do feel a difference already with less stiff neck, more motion and less headaches. Hopefully by the end of the 10 weeks the pain and discomfort that I have dealt with for years will be minimized.

After being treated previously for knee pain, I thought of North Star immediately after my car accident! I was experiencing some pains in my back, neck and shoulders area.. After couple of treatments my pain are being eliminated and I’m feeling much better!! Thanks North Star
