If you've never handled a firearm before, are a novice, or have your HQL and want to take the next step, this place is your one stop shop. Veterans First Gun Safety Services rates as one of my highest recommended businesses. As a 20+ Scout Leader, to my fellow leaders and parents of scouts, VFGSS has courses for you! I completed a course a few weekends ago and MSP just informed me that my permit is in the mail. The training fee was very reasonable, especially given everything that was included... before class guidance on what online forms need to be filled out, fingerprinting, practical training on firearms, then personal 1:1 qualification testing at a range. Literally turnkey. So so easy! Gary and Jeff are excellent instructors. The class time is entertaining but the range time is laser focused and incredibly safe and professional. I had lots of questions going into the class regarding gun laws...all were covered. I was impressed with their "spare no expense" training materials. Plastic handguns to practice safe handling, practice handguns that shoot a laser to practice firing and trigger pulling techniques that ensure better grouping, and actual handguns that you practice loading and unloading. And the handguns you practice with are the same you test with, so you walk in confident and walk out qualified! Gary and Jeff made getting my license easy. They offer lots of courses, I'll be back! Last comment... it's a privilege to support local and veteran owned business.

I took a gun safety class, and they were so welcoming and down-to-earth. The information was helpful and practical, and they were hands-one with helping us handle a weapon safely. It was a great experience!

Veterans First Gun Safety Services LLC. is a great experience. They’ve taught me well educated me on safety shooting cleaning your weapons. I recommend this service to anyone. They are fantastic. Great to deal with. Also, if you have any questions, Gary will go one-to-one with you and explain those questions in fine detail. Hopefully you have a great experience with veterans first signed Herman Hicks.

As a woman who has NEVER owned or knew anything about gun safety I feel more confident after completing my CCW permit with Veteran First! I appreciate the care and time put into ensuring I left with all the knowledge I needed to stay safe, secure and aware. I would put my faith in Veterans first in every time! I will be taking all course offered and looking forward to learning again.

Thank you so much Gary and Jeff ! The class was amazing and I feel comfortable being a responsible CCW owner. I enjoyed the real life simulations and training in the actual classroom. I am a Kinesthetic learner , and I was able to retain the information.I felt so comfortable having Gary and Jeff as my instructor ! My wife and I took the class together and we will be signing up for additional classes in the future.

10/10 SUCH a positive experience taking my CCW class here. Everyone was super friendly and the class was fun and educational at the same time. Everything from the laws to the proper safety was broken down so it was easy to understand and we had a great time while learning. The class had some interactive sections which gave us that hands on learning experience. I felt more than comfortable with everyone there and couldn’t recommend it enough!
