I contacted Bill, after being referred to him due to his experience dealing with and having the must have tools needed for "fostapex" he had the prep tool to shave the outer coating off this discontinued line of pex but had loaned his prep tool out and couldn't recall who he loaned it to, but instead of him saying "sorry about your luck" he said "I will buy another tool and come to your job and get valves on so we can run normal pex as we have been struggling to do for 2 days without having the special prep tool that's needed, and not cheap..... never met Bill personally, but appreciate his help more than he knows! Editted to add an update as of 2/5/24, additional info after original post. I called Bill after having some issues with my septic backing up. I already had an appointment scheduled with a plumber to get the main septic line snaked out, but after doing some more research I decided it would be better to pump the tank first. I didn't want to cancel the appointment to get the septic snaked though, as I had already been waiting about a week. Bill worked with me and was able to make it out the night before my appointment in order to pump out the septic tank, right in the nick of time. He was incredibly helpful, patient with all my questions (I am a first time homeowner and so I had lots) and was very friendly, professional, courteous, and FAST! His pricing was very fair as well. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone in need of septic services. Update: After having Bill pump the tank the plumber came out the following day. We snaked the line but couldn't get past a major blockage right in front of the tank. I got in touch with Bill again since he was so great to work with the first time and scheduled a day for him to come out and do a spot repair on the septic line right in front of the tank. He had his son Frank with him this time as well, and they were awesome. As before they were very patient with my questions. I watched to try and learn as much as I could, and lent a hand where possible but mainly tried to stay out of their way. We uncovered a very bad blockage and lots of broken pipe, which they repaired and added in some cleanouts too. They also added in a cleanout to the front of the tank for ease of future maintenance. The previous owner of the property had done some goofy stuff with the way he had it plumbed up, but they corrected all that and made it look easy. I'm very glad I had them do this job instead of trying to tackle it myself. From the time they showed up to the time everything was back up and running again was a grand total of about 4 hours, I couldn't believe how fast they got it all done. As before his pricing was very fair, and both Bill and Frank were incredibly friendly and professional. I can't recommend them enough! I'd give 6 stars if I could. Less
