Not going to lie, driving home with that bag I kept looking over at it thinking what If I hate them. I am notorious for disliking pictures or ask for a couple redos! So this.... is in print in an amazing keepsake Album as well as Wall art for my bedroom for me to see! Everyday and be happy with my body. I was absolutely nervous When I started to open the Wall art, once it was there, I thought WOW thats me I LOVE it. I was scared to open the album I took my time nice and slow, but as pages went on my face Im sure did not stop smiling In Awe! It was me. Just as I was hoping I am in love with it. When I look at the Wall Art or the box I cant happen to have the biggest smile on my face, because I know had succeeded on what I was trying to do! Capture me enjoying being a woman being me and not worrying not anyone thinks as long as this girl is smiling! With all my flaws that I always am critical of. Up a size down a size I need to stop being so critical of myself. This is me and if it makes myself feel happy and smile! The way Marina made me feel for the right shots when I wasn’t sure. I remember leaving early so I wasn’t late then waiting in my car so I wasn’t early. Then when I finally had the courage to walk in I was still nervous, but I did it. I had walked in the door. I got all dolled up with professional hair and makeup which I had never experienced. Then it was time to shoot, and suddenly I wasn’t nervous anymore. It was like I was meant to be there. Marina posed me in every picture and made me feel like I was doing a perfect job. She made me feel like I was a “model.” When I saw my pictures I was just in pure disbelief that it was me. That I could possible look like that girl that was is all the pictures. I said on multiple occasions to Marina that it was crazy how beautiful of a picture she could take of me. Every time I mentioned that she kept giving me the credit my body deserved. I think my biggest takeaway from this experience is that I am free to be me. Yes I have acne, stretch marks, rolls, cellulite, and bruises, but I can rock each and every one of those things and just be my beautiful self. Less
