Booked a couples massage for Mother's Day. Did 1hr El Leon which is a mixed Thai and relaxing massage. We both went firm for pressure and came out feeling like kneaded dough. So relaxing and all sore spots worked out into buttery goodness. The inside style transports you to an upscale Thailand spa. Like a retreat.

1000/10 I've been coming here for years and I am not being dramatic, but there is no better therapeutic massage. Every therapist I've had has been incredible, but yesterday I had a spiritual experience with Boom- she was worked my body in ways I have never had done before. It was exceptional. I also HIGHLY recommend Gina who is a healer as well. These therapists work with your body and are no doubt intuitive and tailor the treatment to your body. The price is unbeatable as well. INCREDIBLE experience.

I've loved coming here for years for traditional Thai massage. I've had many different massage therapists and its obvious they are all well trained. They apply just the right amount of pressure and pay close attention to your specific needs. I had hip surgery a few years ago so that hip is much less flexible than the other, but I always feel safe during the massage because the therapist stretches just until the perfect point of resistance. For the Thai massage they give you a large t-shirt and Thai fisherman pants to put on. Like other Thai massage places, the treatment rooms are separated by curtains, so you can hear some murmurs from other treatment areas but mostly you hear the relaxing music and the burbling fountain. The spa always has a light incense smell and the whole vibe is relaxing. Before Covid, they used to give you hot tea and fruit after your massage and I definitely miss that. But the prices are very reasonable and I like that I can book online, plus I always find meter parking on Beverly.

I got a gift certificate for El Leon Spa for my partner to celebrate our anniversary, and we booked the couples spa. I will say the studio is very serene and relaxing, definitely the vibes we wanted. My masseuse had strong hands and I like a firm massage style, he was able to get into some knots in my body and relieve muscle tensions. I highly recommend coming here, and their rates are pretty reasonable.
