If you are looking for an honest, professional, great prices and integrity than look no further. After being told by my dealership that I had to have over $3,000 dollars of work done on my car. I was referred by a friend to check out Monroy's Auto Service. I give them a call and spoke with the owner who not only explained why I didn't need all the work the dealership said that I needed but explained to me in easy terms what I really needed which was less than $200. As a single women who hates going to have any work done my on car for fear of being taken advantage of. I can say you don't have to worry about that at Monroy's. Monroy’s Auto Service is by far the best auto service provider I’ve ever used. From the very first interaction you’re treated with honesty, professionalism, and respect. Laz, is knowledgeable, transparent about the work that needs to be done, and he never makes you feel pressured. The quality of work is outstanding, and they genuinely care about their customers. One experience, in particular, has stayed with me. I was traveling towards the shop from about two hours away when I started having vehicle trouble. My phone battery was almost dead, so I called to explain the situation in case I didn’t make it. A short time later, I happened to look at my phone and realized he was already on the road coming to meet me in case I broke down. That level of care and willingness to help meant more to me than I can express. It’s rare to find someone who goes that far for their customers.If you’re looking for an auto shop that is trustworthy, knowledgeable, and truly puts its customers first, I can’t recommend Monroy’s Auto Service highly enough.

Hell he even did a light cleaning in my truck (just because) I was shocked. I got two more vehicles and I am bringing them to him. I didnt look for cheap, I looked for someone who knows what they are doing and not just guessing. Someone who won't give me a headache and constantly make me waste money. I found my mechanic shop. I looked on social media and came across Monroy's Auto Service through a post. People had nothing but great things about this auto service. I looked on their website and read all great reviews. I knew I found my mechanic. My car wouldn't start and Laz came to my work and diagnosed my car. He showed me step by step of the diagnosis and it turned out to be a bad starter. He quickly called in for the starter. He also showed me that I had an oil leak. He called in for an oil pan. Laz and his team installed the new starter and oil pan. Laz communicated well with me. Regularly gave me updates on the service to my car. He is honest and fair. I will certainly hit him up on future auto services.

Went in for oil change and help with reconnecting a hose. So nice and knowledgeable. Made sure to let me know what they were doing and why, but in a way that was relatable and didn’t make me feel like he was talking down to me as a female. Definitely recommend Monroys. Lazaro Monroy is a really straight shooter, and has always handled any car issues I’ve brought to him with honesty and professionalism. When my old Ford Fiesta blew a head gasket, and had to be sold he was completely honest about the situation and gave me a discount for his work. Then, when I brought my Toyota RAV4 in due to rodent damage he gave me tips for keeping them out of my engine bay, and gave me insight on other things to be aware of. I’ve even asked him for advice over text for minor issues, and he’s always spared time to respond which has been a great help. He gives you an opportunity to provide your own parts, which is a massive savings in cost and allows you to buy the brand you prefer. He offers both mobile mechanic services for the Kyle, Buda, and San Marcos area with a very reasonable service fee, and has a shop you can bring your car to as well. His hourly rate is also extremely competitive, and I’ve always been able to save a lot of money by giving him my business as opposed to any dealership, or chain mechanic. Overall, I think if you’re considering giving this man your business it’s definitely worth it!

I cannot say enough good things about Monroy Auto Service (Laz). I am so thankful to have found Monroy Auto service on TikTok! I watched his videos and instantly realized he is extremely knowledgeable regarding all types of vehicles. I scheduled a first appointment with him for my Ford Expedition- multiple components- first, the tailgate was no longer lifting. Laz was able to locate the part, replace and fix it. That in itself was extremely nice, to have it fixed again! Then, he was able to fix some sensors that had been triggering my check engine light! That was fixed and relieved me of the sight of having to see that check engine light come on every time I started the car. I then scheduled another 2-3 appointments as follow-ups for some maintenance that I had been holding off on. When I tell you that I have never been more content with the communication and detailed summaries of the work that Laz does! He really is incredibly dedicated at his job! Payment is also easy as he sends everything via email and online options to pay.All that to say, I have now also scheduled multiple appointments with Monroy Auto service for my husband's Ford Raptor as well and will be scheduling all of my son's car vehicle maintenance with him as well.
