I am writing a review for the Olivier Funeral home. They were terrific.First when my brother passed in May, 2026 I was very distraught over this. It was at this point that the town of Lakewood Police finally got in touch with us up in northern New Jersey to let us know that he passed. I was told that they were the funeral home that picked him up at his home where he passed away. He was dead in his home for possible two to three days. The funeral home had to bring him to the morgue to get autopsyI was dealing with them from then on and they helped me out with every detail that I needed. I was deciding on whether to get him cremated or have a service for him. I decided on cremation. Their help was caring and invaluable.We are now in the process of bring his ashes up north to get him buried. They will make all the arrangements to have the Navy military at the gravesite. This is another service they provided that helped me tremendously.I would highly recommend Oliveri Funeral Home to anyone that is going through the sad and tough time with a death in the family. They are very nice people, very caring, knowledgeable and easy to work with.Thank you Pam

This was late at night on Thanksgiving Eve!! Geri knew exactly what questions to ask concerning the decisions I needed to make and gave me the time to discuss them with my children. Wow, where do I start? My father passed away July 30th @95years old. Michael, owner/director, was the 1st person we met. He was so sympathetic & respectful when picking up my dad, it was tough all around. The Oliverie Team was wonderful, knowledgeable & helpful with guiding us through the funeral arrangements. They put together a beautiful personal photo book as a remembrance keepsake. Our story doesn't end there, after 3months I contacted Oliverie again, inquiring on dis-interning my dad from the masoleum he was currently to be closer to where my 88yr old mom lives. I spoke to Geri, owner/manager, on cost & steps needed. I discussed that i wasn't sure, just looking at options. Well, Geri took the reins from there & found out all the fees, paperwork, approvals, scheduled it All; along with arranging the Priest, Father Jim, to bless my dad upon his arrival to St. Joseph. The day's events with Michael went so smoothly, the cost quoted by Geri was reasonable with no surprises. My mom couldn't be more happier to be able to visit my dad whenever she wants.
