For those thinking you can’t do this, you can! Mark made sure we knew what we were doing before we set off. We covered so much ground around the base of the acropolis, some pretty places and with Mark pointing out things we would never have found ourselves. The tour was not rushed and we had fun! Honestly this was so enjoyable - we highly recommend anyone of any age doing this Segway tour with Athens City Tours. Menelaos, our tour guide, led us on a fun and informative tour of Athens. He was knowledgeable, and fluent in English. We were Segway novices and he got us comfortable with them right away. One of the best ways to take a 2 hour tour of whatever part of Athens you want to see. Highly recommend!

I have been fortunate to have ridden Segways in eight different countries but this tour from Vana tops them all! She is super friendly, encouraging, and knowledgeable about all things Greek and that is a winning combination. We covered over five miles on our Segways and countless different points of interest in Athens. The thought of walking that distance makes my old knees weak, but doing so on a Segway was easy as pie. For those of you who haven’t ridden Segways before, it is very easy to learn and you’ll love the ride. Thanks, Vana, for such a wonderful day in Athens!

We booked the 3 hr tour and highly recommend this longer one. Demi was absolutely brilliant - a good and patient teacher; a safety conscious, competent and interesting tour leader; a bubbly personality, a great sense of humour and excellent English. We rode through some very busy places (nothing there that worried us personally) but also some quieter. A good mix. There was enough time to take a look around and get a sense of the vibe and history in each place. A great ‘inner city adventure’. Would suit any age if you want to try something a bit different and are a confident driver/rider of any type of vehicle. Thanks Demi!! We loved being your ‘ducklings’ for the morning.

Ok at 64 should you ride a Segway around the cobbled streets of Athens! Hell yes! And with a great guide Vana she spent 2hrs circum-navigating the Acropolis, loved it, thank you and great value!! We'll see you again.

Fantastic experience with Vana. Lots of historical information from a lovely fun guide. We have done lots of other Segway tours but this was our favourite. It’s also a great way to see lots in a short space of time without having to hike up the hills ! Would thoroughly recommend. Thank you Vana!
