After much research I settled on Icon Rocklear and Ceramic King Coatings to have the job done. As most folks do, I studied the feedback for this business and was impressed with all of the glowing reviews. After getting my car done I did have a couple of minor concerns that I brought to the attention of the owner. These concerns were not about the application of Rocklear, but about an issue with a foreign substance on the paint under the coating. Now in today's market most businesses would have dismissed me and sent me hiking, because the Rocklear was applied properly. Not Ceramic King Coatings. They went above and beyond to make me a happy customer. Unfortunately I am very disappointed with my experience with this company. I bought a brand new Toyota Tundra and was excited to invest in what I thought would be a high quality treatment. After they mixed up my truck with another customers truck and took an additional two days to complete the process due to this, they returned my truck to me with scratches that were not there before and had ceramic coated over bugs on the grill. Since I paid a significant amount of money for this, I contacted them to see how they could fix these issues. We scheduled an appointment for after the 30-day cure time, where the owner said he would do a full detail of the truck and fix all mistakes. I showed up for this appointment and they completely forgot about the appointment and everything we had discussed. After picking up my truck after they “fixed” the mistakes, I realized they had not done a detail like they said. For the amount of money and time this took, I should have come out with a better result. I’m sad to say I do not recommend this company. Less

Factory paint jobs are definitely not as durable or clean as you'd expect them to be for what we pay these days, and I fell victim to numerous scratches, chips, and dents. After seeing what Ceramic King Coatings was able to do with my wife's Trailblazer last fall; which was severely scratchy from a brushed carwash, I decided to schedule an appointment for the truck. Samantha got me on the books in under a month for dent removal, paint, and ICON Rocklear Coating service. Anyone who knows paint, knows it needs time to cure. Being that I live in NC, that meant a fairly long drive with the high probability of covering fresh paint with bug guts between services. These folks kept my truck safe on site for 5 weeks and 2 days to ensure everything was done right, and had time to cure properly. I couldn't be happier with the outcome, and truly appreciate their commitment to good service! If you're buying a new vehicle that you are going to care how it looks, you'd be crazy not to add their services to your financial plan when purchasing. If you can have it towed to their shop straight from the dealership, even better. UPDATE: The owner made it his personal mission to get my car fixed and done the right way. He personally came and got the vehicle and kept it and made sure it was done the right way. In this line of business, not everything goes smoothly or perfectly. But, what matters is thinks made right. And Leland made sure it was done right. He brought the car back and my wife was impressed and that says a lot. Then when I saw it, i was equally impressed and blown away by the cars paint. They knocked it out of the park. All I can say is that be patient with a business like this. and trust and know that Leland and his crew will make things right if there is something wrong. This is a great company and worth it to protect your vehicle in the long run. I will say this, in the year my wifes car has had this coating on it, not a single scratch or swirl mark is on the paint. The paint still looks brand new and not a single issue with it. Nothing can wreck this paint. Tree sap, bird droppings, road grime. Nothing has affected the paint. It truly is impressive.
