I’ve been a member of Manchester Outdoor Fitness for just over a year. I braced myself for my first free session with trepidation as even though I am reasonably fit and have always exercised regularly, I thought a boot camp style of exercise would be beyond me. How wrong I was as each session is inclusive for people of all levels of fitness. The experienced instructors incorporate a variety of exercises at each session and members can choose which level they want to exercise at i.e., beginners, intermediate or advanced. This doesn’t mean that you don’t exercise as a group however as you are still training together. The instructors just ensure that there are options to suit everyone in the group. One of my favourite things about the groups is the camaraderie and support from other members at each session. The sessions take place in a variety of lovely parks so you can choose your local one or travel to a different one for a change if another day or time is more convenient. I wish I had joined before as had seen the group training in my local park but just thought it was for ‘ultra fit’ people!! The good thing is that whatever your current level of fitness is, this style of exercise will challenge you to achieve the next level. Less

I have used many different personal trainers over the years and fitness camps but Manchester outdoor fitness is by far the best! My search is over. I can’t thank you enough. The groups are full of like minded people working towards their goals. It’s a brilliant environment to be in and around. The team pitch the workouts just right, hard but not too hard- unless you want that! I recommend them to everyone. Less

You’ll make friends and get fitter than you ever thought possible - almost always whilst having fun ! If you compete at any level, this type of training will help you to develop tremendous functional fitness and endurance capacity. It also develops the mental strength you need to be successful and gain a competitive edge in a range of different events including HYROX. If you’re not doing this training - you’re missing a trick ! The instructors are some of the best around. Every session is different and tends to mix strength and cardio. Gyms are not for me so training outdoors is great. Training as a group creates a great environment in which everyone can improve their fitness, you will find fellow members supporting and encouraging each other throughout. Give it a try, you won't find a better group of people! Less
