I used Don previously with a rescue that I had so I knew that my 1 year old St. Bernard wasn't going to go anywhere else for training. We had a few basic things down but her 88 pounds of strength and stubbornness was too much for me to handle especially with walking. Sheba spent 2 weeks with Don and came back like a different dog. She sits and waits for her meals and to go outside, she's learned not to try to bite my hands when she wants to go out she's using a command button, I am able to successfully walk her and she heels or stops and sits when I stop and she is not jumping on people or barking at everything in sight. Still a work in progress but WOW how much Don was able to do with her in 2 weeks. I can't say enough great things about Don and Tru Mission K9's. I highly recommend him!

Don is a skilled and professional trainer. His purpose is to help you understand your dog and communicate with them in a way that is safe an effective for both you and your pup. Don and his family are wonderful people and are very knowledgeable about what your dog needs to succeed. They are very passionate about the dogs and what they do. I have an american pit that was used as a bait dog when he was a puppy. He lacked confidence and was always overly excited. He also had instances where his past of being a bait dog would kick in. Now he is a confident pup and has obidience. They saved this dogs life. His next stop was to be euthanized before i found Don and his crew. They were a blessing and god sent. They have also given me all the guidance i need to continue to train Isiah and give him the best chance at succeeding. I cannot thank them enough!!!

Today we got our summer back! Totally different dog. Still loving and caring but they really did a complete 360 on her. For example anytime we sat down at a table to eat summer would constantly jump or take food when we weren’t looking. Now she doesn’t even get of of a sit command unless we say “Free” ! Absolutely Amazing! They answered every question we had. Dealt with every concern as well. Very professional. Summer did so good our 6year old will say a command and she follows it. 🙌🏼🤦🏼‍♀️ definitely recommend anyone that needs training to come here.

Mr Don & Team does the impossible!!!!! I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Our Aussie Lacie has been perfectly trained. We did boarding away from home training for a few months....he eased our minds (we missed our baby), kept us posted on her progress and the result was phenomenal! She is perfect! ....I highly recommend him & Team with no reservations!!!!!! He boards for me now when needed & we couldn't be more pleased knowing she is in perfect hands while we are away. I met Don through a friend of mine in Aynor SC. We pulled a dog from Chester Co. Animal Shelter back in December. Don agreed to work with him once we got him healthy!! Don did an evaluation on Diesel on Feb. 7 2024. He was right and so was I. He was going to be put down due to aggression, which he was not he was reactive. He was severely malnourished when we got him a dog his size should have been around 70-90 pounds healthy weight! Don is amazing and you can tell it in his posture and voice when working with these dogs! He is very confident around any dog! He can turn any dog around I don’t care what the dog has been through! He’s the best and it was a pleasure working alongside him!!

Don worked with my dog Ares over the last 2 months. Ares is a dog that does not warm up to other people very well, but with Don he absolutely warmed up to him in his own time. Don understood his needs and personality when it came to working with him. This was also something that Ares looked forward to every week. Hopefully in the future we can work with Don more

Don is a great Trainer. He was very knowledgeable and patient when it came me and my young pup . I wasn’t sure of using the e-collar until he explained to me how and when it’s an appropriate time to do so. Time and Money well spent. Thanks to Don and his team I can now enjoy my pup!

Don is the best!! As knowledgeable as he is to train each dog he meets for their individual needs, he is just as patient, helping you learn how to properly care for your fur baby. He has gone above and beyond for Mr Loki and has not given up when everyone else said he had no hope which in return has saved his life! I called Tru Mission K9’s (Don) after rescuing a young Lab/Husky mix that had been severely traumatized and dumped. This dog was watching my son for several months and then came to my son and put his paws around his leg to hug him. So he basically found us. He is terrified of people and will act out aggressively and try to bite until he gains your trust. Don began working with us right away. Blizzard has come a long way. Most recently Blizzard and our 6 year old Westie (Baby) spent several weeks with Don and his family. They are amazing, his boys work well with the dogs also! Don gained Blizzards trust the first time he ever worked with him. Still a work in progress but Don has been very patient and kind with helping us. Baby has also showed great improvements to her bad habits. She also bonded really well with Don’s youngest son. We look forward to continuing our work with Don and Tru Mission K-9’s!
