Brilliant work in my house- made 3 wardrobes, a window seat and panelling to make my daughter’s dream bedroom and it is amazing. Also made two units for the living room alcoves. All a lovely finish and was very easy having George at the house and felt comfortable going to work and leaving my dogs in the kitchen which is very important to me. Fair prices. Very tidy. Will be having him back soon to do more work. in a world of tradesmen not replying, not turning up, George is a breath of fresh air in that area which means will always recommend him to others. i had a washing machine fitted whilst he was there and it didn’t fit by mm but he helped out and took the mm off the skirting so we had a working machine so thank you! Highly recommended.

Had a small but tricky job repairing a handmade kitchen cupboard door – heavy, awkward, and needed seven hinges! Checkmate Carpentry handled it brilliantly. George is currently hanging new doors in my new house as and when I can afford them. I have had 4 replaced so far and the work carried out is superb and he hoovers up after!! I have also asked him to design and build a new unit for my bathroom sink, he listened to my requests and designed exactly what I required. I cannot wait to have it fitted.
