Definitely recommend this if you're considering it. I recently joined with an Introductory package and I'm so pleased I did. It's not super close to me but really easy to get to from the motorway. Definitely recommend this if you're considering it. I recently joined with an Introductory package and I'm so pleased I did. It's not super close to me but really easy to get to from the motorway. Jen was so great to work with and small group personal training is a great way to get support in a gym setting. Jen was really supportive and made sure we were all worked at an appropriate level, and helped us to set up and make sure we understood all the different exercises. It was not at all intimidating, and I really enjoyed it from my first session. There were other people working at different levels and everyone was so supportive and welcoming from the start! I'm leaving Glasgow for a few months otherwise I'd want to stay on.And if you're considering it but not sure then send them a message with any questions, they were really responsive. Less

I've been attending the 12-week summer programme at Ladies Who Lift and it's been a wonderful experience! This is a great place with lovely trainers who really help you build a routine for being more active and consistent with going to the gym. I definitely feel stronger and more confident. She guides me towards smashing my goals - ones I never thought I’d be able to achieve before meeting Jen. She’s such a prominent figure in my life now and cannot imagine doing majority of the things I do now without her help! Her reach is outwith ‘just gym stuff’ and she’ll never fully see and understand the positive impact she’s had on all of us! The meet ups with other clients is always full of laughter and it’s amazing to see the progress we’re all making - I’m honestly gutted anytime I miss the meets! Jen takes time to work with everyone individually to see what works best for them, and always encourages and motivates us. Each week there is the opportunity to discuss goals and reflect on the week with regards to exercise and nutrition, and I’ve found the feedback from Jen invaluable. Jen is not just as PT at Ladies Who Lift, but she is a friend, a supporter, a therapist, nutritionist, everything you need or want her to be, she will be there to make you the best version of yourself. Joining Ladies Who Lift has been one of the best things I’ve ever done for my mental health and I cannot recommend it enough! Less

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Ladies Who Lift is an incredible place. I've felt so welcome and immediately put at ease by Jen. I’ve now been with Jen and Ladies Who Lift for over 4 weeks now and I absolutely love it. I was apprehensive stepping back into a gym environment as I felt self conscious about how I looked and how unfit I’ve been for the last few years. I had a really reassuring call with Jen before getting started and spoke about my fitness and nutrition goals. I was relieved when she said it wasn’t all about strict calorie deficits and crazy/over the top workouts and that it’s more about building new lifestyle and mindset changes that I’ll stick with for life. When I attended my first session, I felt instantly welcomed and all the other women were lovely and supportive. I didn’t feel nervous or awkward, I felt like I was immediately part of a community. The monthly meet ups are great and we have planned extra walks on days the community can get together. Being able to to do this with women that have similar goals has been amazing. Jen has been a beyond amazing support in helping me begin my journey to achieve my fitness goals. She’s positive, understanding and adapts everything to ensure I’m continuing my journey in the best way for me. I’ve already started noticing a difference in how my body feels and I’m increasing my weights each week. It’s just so easily became part of my weekly routine and I’m feeling great. If you told me a couple of months ago I would be looking forward to going to the gym, I would have said “no chance!”. Cannot recommend LWL enough! :) Less

I decided to try LWL after viewing an IG post & a consultation, I felt this was the group I wanted to join!. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time being part of LWL and being part of a lovely group of women who are all very supportive and inspiring. Jen herself is one of the most enthusiastic & happiest PT’s I’ve had and her energy is contagious which is a great motivator at 6am. From my personal experience, I have found Jen a great pillar of strength who is full of encouragement, advice and has created a wonderful non-judgemental environment at LWL! Jen doesn’t limit your membership with training sessions but there are many other options like an open gym, monthly Saturday meet ups to share ideas and most recently walks to Glasgow Green with a hot drink!! Jen has also started online classes on food and nutrition which I find informative and enjoy the interactions with others in the group. With all that I’ve mentioned, since joining I have regained my confidence at the gym, I enjoy attending my sessions and have secured great results! Less
