I have been working with Coach Ty for over a year now and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! I was training with her in person until I moved out of state and now I use her app-based programs to continue training on my own. When I first started my search for a coach, I was immediately attracted to her approach towards nutrition and fitness. Her focus on how the body FEELS was super important to me because I wanted someone that was intentional about my overall health and not just an aesthetic. Luckily with her, one leads to the other so I’ve made great progress on both ends!I also really appreciated the fact that she heard me. When I would tell her about certain weak points in my body or limited mobility issues, she was patient with me in finding modifications and then worked with me to strengthen those weak points. I never had to repeat myself to her to convince her that I was struggling with something. I didn’t realize how big of a deal that was until I experienced it with her. As a plus size woman, it is difficult to find people that are willing to listen and understand you so that you can make the changes necessary. She didn’t make my shortcomings a big deal and I never had to convince her that certain issues were stemming from real pain and not presumed laziness.I also loved seeing her use own advice to make changes to her body during her competition season. It’s one thing to take someone’s advice, it’s another to see them take it themselves and see the remarkable changes they can make to their physique. She truly is inspiring in so many ways! She takes the time to explain a workout regimen if you have any questions and does the proper correction if she see something isn’t right. That’s super important for me. Coach Ty met me where I was when starting the program. I started this program while starting a new nursing specialty job, buying and moving into my first home, and starting graduate school. Naturally some days were a struggle. She never made me feel bad about myself. She always had a plan. In the past I would give up after a few mistakes but not this time. I just did my best. I also have hypothyroidism and struggled with 24/7 fatigue and bloating. Now I know how to use macros and what foods work for MY body. I went on vacation and ate what I wanted. I did not count calories or macros but stopped eating when I was full. I came back home without the gross bloating feeling. It felt natural to get back on track.The scale or measurements always showed progress. It's a lifestyle change that does not feel out of reach anymore. Less

Tiyanna is very professional and I appreciate that she was personable and understanding of personal challenges I had going on. After working out with her for the 6 weeks I chose to stop because I thought it was more important for me to work on my relationship with food. Tiyanna is very professional and I appreciate that she was personable and understanding of personal challenges I had going on. After working out with her for the 6 weeks I chose to stop because I thought it was more important for me to work on my relationship with food.
