We absolutely loved Sharkey’s!! They have cars for the kids to sit in, tvs, balloons, dip n dots, and so much more! Our son didn’t cry and squirm too much! The lady who cut his hair was absolutely wonderful! Very patient with him and sweet!! We will definitely be coming back every time our son needs a hair cut as long as we live in Baton Rouge!!! Money very well spent!!!!

I took my 1.5 year old son here for his first haircut, and while we were there my 3y old got a trim. They made my kids feel special and the cuts were good. It’s a bit pricey, and then a tip is expected, but for a first cut for a toddler it’s a good option.

We came get my sons first haircut today. We had tonia as our haircut lady and she was amazing. 10/10 recommend her. She was patient and so sweet with my almost 2 year old. Encouraging him the whole time and we will definitely be going back to her!

My toddler hates getting haircuts so I thought having one done here might help. Ms Tonia did a wonderful job of comforting and being so kind for the whole experience! There were a few nervous tears in the beginning, but by the end they were high-fiving each other and laughing and were all smiles! They have an Xbox to play games during the cut and tvs with kids shows which helped a lot to become comfortable and calm the nerves. The haircut was also fantastic and we are so pleased! When it was over, Ms Tonia gave out a sucker and balloon as a reward which was so sweet and made our day! Highly recommend if you have a child who is adjusting to the experience of a haircut. We plan to go back!

We’ve have been coming to Sharkeys since my son was 4. Before I found out about Sharkeys, every place we tried was just not what was asked for. Especially for kids. Sharkeys is always nice, professional, and friendly. Mrs. Cynthia always gets my baby looking right no matter what the cut is. We really appreciate her and the staff! Gonna be sad when he ages out and starts going to a barber.

These people were so great! Cynthia and Tonya were so full of life. It was my 16 month olds first haircut and they kept him entertained. They went above and beyond giving us anything fun. From lollipops, tattoos to balloons. I left so happy that they were so generous and did a great job cutting my boys hair. They even helped with getting my boys in the car. Thank you! We absolutely love Ms. Tonia! We started going here after my son was diagnosed with autism. Ms. Tonia is the only one I let cut my kids hair. She has such a calming demeanor and is kind and patient with my children. Can not say enough good things about her! Would not recommend Ms. Angel. She butchered my son's cut when Ms. Tonia wasn't available and most recently she was pretty rude when I called to make an appt.

We had the best experience with my 18m old little boy. He usually kicks and screams during haircuts and I didn’t expect much, but Ms. Tanya is a miracle worker and he didn’t make a peep! His cut looks great and we’ll definitely be back!!

Ty is the stylist who cut my son's hair. I showed her a picture of the cut he wanted, and she confidently assured me that she could do it. He told me it was the best cut he's ever had. When he saw the results, he lit up! I've been looking for a good place to do my son's hair the way we like it and have been to a few barber shops but never fully satisfied. I took my daughter here for a trim, and Ty happened to have an opening for my son. This place is awesome for kids! My son played video games the whole time, and my daughter loved playing in the car while getting cut. They do a certification with a picture and piece of hair for first-time cuts. They're so sweet with the kids. We had a great experience here. They'll be my permanent spot. I never do reviews, but this place was memorable and deserves to be flooded with praise.
