The exercises were taught clearly and with both verbal and practical examples. There was ample time spent and constant reassurance and enquiring if we understood everything. There was enough time for each person taking part with their puppy to fully understand the task in hand. We were given lots of instructions prior to the class so came with everything we needed. We were given tips on how to settle our puppies. Fortunately, most of those taking part were very responsive puppies. I feel that Sarah really cared and wanted us to succeed with our puppies and in the fairly limited amount of tuition we all benefited and saw good results with our dogs. She was open to being approached about anything and offered good positive and experienced replies to matters outside of the lessons. I would highly recommend Sarah and will be signing on to her next course. She has a very open, easy manner and a ready smile and masses of encouragement. We have worked with Sarah on both our puppies - including the brilliant youth club for pup number 1 a few years ago. Every lesson is a joy. Incredibly clear instructions and guidance tailored to make the puppies and their humans get the best out of each other. It is also important to point out how gentle, positive and calm Sarah is. Always words of encouragement throughout the exercises. Sarah "gets " your puppy straight away and will never push them too far, and always guides us with positive reinforcement. The whole family enjoyed the puppy classes with Sarah. She creates a warm and welcoming environment, and each exercise is well explained and demonstrated. We saw a definite development in our puppy's behaviour throughout the course - in the first lesson he was so excited he couldn't sit still, then just a few weeks later after following Sarah's training plan, he was lying down patiently between exercises!
