This was a wonderful introduction to the Croatian language! I have not come across another course in which I am able to learn about both the culture of Croatia and the language. Tihana is an excellent teacher. She has created an engaging curriculum and does a great job of assessing the students' knowledge and making modifications to meet individual needs. Most noteworthy is Tihana's care for her students. This is not just a job for her. It is a passion to help students learn this language and thus experience the unique beauty of the country. I would highly recommend her course.

I got a LOT of value from this course! You can tell Tihana is committed to offering each of her students lots of personal attention and support learning Croatian. She also goes above and beyond providing really good additional resource documents and grammar websites to help students understand how to express themselves correctly and effectively in the language. Tihana gives challenging homework assignments that help students learn and gain confidence. I enjoyed the emphasis on Croatian culture and history that is always a part of Tihana's courses -- you feel closer to Croatia and its people because of this. Another great aspect of Tihana's courses is the comfortable atmosphere she creates among her students. Very quickly, it feels like a place to be yourself, ask your questions, and really have a good time while learning. Hvala lijepa!

Croatian Heritage Deep Dive is an amazing course. Tihana builds a framework that is assessable by all level of learners. Beginners (like me) and others who have some background in the language.She incorporates culture into the language learning in so many ways: history, geography, reicipes, music, dance…Tihana creates a bond with her students. As a former teacher I know the importance of creating a warm “classroom climate” in which every student feels welcomed and valued. Tihana encourages each of us, corrects our mistakes and pronunciation, and offers support each step of the way.One result of taking this class: my fellow students and I and Tihana have built up a friendship that has transcended the actual weeks of the course. Lots of interaction on the Zoom Talk Time meetings. We share ideas and resources. Another result is that we have not stopped learning. This class offers so much.
