We needed our floors refinished because we had some deep scratches and gaps and just generally are hard on the floors as a family of 6. We needed our floors refinished because we had some deep scratches and gaps and just generally are hard on the floors as a family of 6. I got quotes from two highly rated companies and ultimately chose EcoFlooring because of the speed with which they were able to finish the project. It was roughly half the time that was projected by the other company so while we spent all day out of the house, we were able to come home and sleep in our beds. The fact that it’s eco friendly helps too, it didn’t smell toxic or especially strong once it was finished. During sanding they put plastic over everything and largely kept it contained (tough to do with dust!). They left samples of stain on the floor for me to choose from before staining the whole floor. I appreciated that because I actually ended up liking the natural wood best and no labor/time was wasted in staining the whole thing without getting an opinion. The floors are very smooth I was very pleased with the attention to detail, listening to what I wanted, and painting the baseboards. The other company said they would reinstall the shoe moulding, but not paint. Having those painted really made the project feel finished and just took it to the next level. I definitely plan to use EcoFlooring in the future. Thank you to Glauco and your team! Less

We paid $7500 for two rooms, which was not the cheapest price around, so we hoped to get quality work done. Contractors were not friendly or nice, they would just walk into our house without saying anything, when they would go to lunch, they would leave our front door wide open when it is freezing outside and we have our two year old son running in the house. Once they finished installing the floors, they put all furniture back without showing us the finial result or letting us clean the floors. Rooms were covered in dust - floors, walls, ceilings, everything! When we inspected the floors we noticed some issues, but once we approached the owner with it, he did not want to do anything about it. It felt like they were just trying to get it done and move on, regardless of how it looks like. When we started cleaning the floors after they left, we saw very deep scratches under the bed, so it made sense why they were in a rush to put all the furniture back before letting us see the floors.
