I’ve been coming to York House Dental practice for a little over a year now, and it’s been the best experience with a dentist practice I’ve ever had. Dr Raghu and Monica have not only provided excellent results, but along with everyone else involved at the practice, have just been great with every interaction had and I can’t speak highly enough of. I can’t see myself going anywhere else from now on.

UPDATE: before showing my full review I will say this, I first posted the following review in about to show you on 30th March 2026 however I briefly took it down after receiving a threatening letter making various illegal and extortionate demands blackmailing me if I did not take it down. I was forced to consult with my solicitor who was appalled at how unprofessional rushed and poorly written the pre action letter was from a so called ‘practice manager’ such as doctor patel. It did not even meet the standard pre action protocol on several counts including but not limited to saying ‘7 days’ when standard protocol for pre action is 14 days. Just like how he had gaslighted me about clear decay in the practice he did the same thing with his ‘legal letter’ if you can even call it that. Now here’s the original review I wrote in its entirety that will NOT BE TAKEN DOWN read on from here this is the original review I had posted 30th March 2026 starting NOW:Disgusting behaviour. The lead dentist the one in the Google photos is an animal. He screamed in my face and scolded me the second I walked in I went to put my bags down before I went to the toilet and he went 'don't do that you'll get in peoples way !!!' When I put them on ONE chair out of seven chairs and the practice was empty and it was 3:30pm late in the day for a dental practice but he was acting as if 10 people were about to walk in the door and my bags would be'obstructing them' it was one backpack and one Tesco bag not a suitcase. Then he rushed me in barely even listened to me and started telling me every single thing the tooth pain could be other than decay and heavily implied it wasn't decay when he hadn't even looked at the tooth yet or done the x ray. They were also saying'Luke' an excessive number of times angry that I recently changed my name they said Luke over 29 times in a row. They kept saying Luke at the start of almost every single sentence they said to me it was completely uncessary they were unhappy l'd changed my name. They also tried to cancel my appointment just Hours beforehand. The dentist also said 'could need a root canal'. That's a huge thing to just say in the offhand way he said it to me. He said it casually like someone would say 'hmm could need a kidney transplant not sure!.A root canal is a big deal the fact he even said that means he could see a serious decay there. He wanted to withhold the information about how bad the decay was as he said to me the only way I'm allows to find out how bad the decay is is to book another appointment with a root canal specialist. Any dentist, any qualified dentist root canal specialist or not can see if decay is bad enough for a root canal or if it needs a filling that's an obvious thing. It's not subtle root canal level decay is nor subtle it either needed extraction a filling or a root canal and he refused to tell me which one. Also when I pointed out the visible decay outside the teeth as well as inside he said 'na looks fine' even though it was a blatantly obvious massive brown spot of decay. It's like pointing out a traffic cone in the road and the builder going 'where'. He just wanted to rinse as much money out of me as possible by making me pay for multiple appointments to ‘find out’ if it needed a root canal when he clearly knew from the start. So essentially he was planning on getting hundreds of pounds from me wasting time while my tooth decayed and by the time he decides to finally tell me about the decay after making me pay for several appointments it would be too late to save the tooth by then needing extraction instead of a root canal and then an an expensive denture to replace the missing tooth which his practice offers therefore instead of one root canal under £1,000 he gets thousands for a denture.

He just shouted abuse at me as I left instead laughing at me and making snide sarcastic comments and said ‘Luke’ about another 7 times so by that point had said ‘Luke’ nearly 50 times in 15 minutes he did need to say my name more than once he could have just said ‘nice to see you Luke’ when I entered and that’s it he was angry I had changed my name since I saw him last. Also when I left out the door he shouted more abuse so I said ‘I’ll make a court claim’ as he had made over 12 abusive comments on the way out and then when I said ‘I’ll make a court claim ‘ in response to the 12 abusive comments he had made on the way out he responded laughing at me going ‘here’s my number do it now !!’. Since he openly invited me to make a claim I will now do that before he said that I would have settled for a simple refund now it will be much more. Thousands at least for leaving me with decay on purpose basically wanting me to lose the tooth/ get an abcess he also knows I had a neck infection in the past so him leaving me with tooth decay on purpose is intentionally endangering my life
