Edit: I think our pups have stayed 4 or 5 times now at OPW, and they have the best time. The latest was another 10 day stay while we went on holiday. We got the most adorable updates, and could once again see everyday what they got up to through social media, from paddling pools, to sand box, to ripping up cardboard boxes, they had the most lovely holiday of their own, being pampered and entertained by all the staff. Highly recommend.Our 2 dogs recently had a 10 day holiday stay here while we were away.They had a blast. Unlike a kennel, they got to play with the other dogs all day. There are loads of enrichment and fun activities organised for them throughout the day, and there are rest areas too for when they want some quiet time. We were kept up to date on their stay with regular updates from their carers, and social media updates (photos/videos). They really couldn't have had a better holiday 🩷💜.They also go regularly for day care fun, and they love their time with Oxford Pet Whisperers.

Having never put previous dogs into such environments (cos they didn't exist!), I thoroughly investigated the options for our 16 month-old Irish Setter. I was impressed with what I read and their philosophy. Proof being in the pudding, I booking her in for an initial assessment, and watched her day progress via images of her, followed by a comprehensive assessment at the end of the day. Boy, did she sleep well that evening!! Having booked for a further day care session, I witnessed her enjoy a structured and enriched day (through the photos taken) - just what a 16mo IS needs ;-) I am more than impressed by OPWs philosophy, attention to detail, care, consideration, training and enrichment requirements of our furbaby. Reggie has been a regular day care member since he was 3 months old. He loves the staff and the other dogs. Oxford Pet Whisperers have helped Reggie learn to socialise with all breeds of dogs and he is developing a lovely temperament. Reggie had his first boarding experience for a long weekend last week and he had so much fun, I am not sure he wanted to come home! However, its great to know that we have a safe, fun and caring environment to place him in when required.

The OPW team have been looking after Willow since she was 9 weeks old (she’s now 7 years!) and we wouldn’t trust anyone else with looking after her. It gives us so much peace of mind knowing shes safe and cared for when we’re in the office or on holiday. Whilst she may have slowed down a bit as she’s aged, we know how excited she is every week to go to ‘school’ and play with her friends. She is also having a love affair with Hank who she absolutely adores (plus Jürgen & Willis!). She’s recently had a 2 week hotel stay with OPW while we were on holiday and we loved getting the update emails and photos knowing she was having a great time. Thank you for caring for our pupper!

Going to OPW is the highlight of Peanut’s week. They provide a great service, conveniently located within Didcot, and clearly care so much about all of the dogs that stay with them. It’s every pet owners responsibility to make sure their dog is well trained and mentally and physically fulfilled - but the staff at OPW help make that burden lighter. Plus I get access to all the goofy photos I could want!

We have used Oxford Pet Whisperers for years, starting back when they were offering dog walking before the centre even opened. Nat, Jamie and the team are absolutely brilliant.What they offer is so much more than dog walking or standard daycare. It’s a fantastic play centre with indoor and outdoor space, as well as training, agility, socialisation, and a huge variety of activities. We currently have a 6-month-old puppy, and it has been incredible for her confidence, social skills, and overall development.Hallie has the best time there, and she always comes home happy, settled, and nicely tired. The team clearly care so much about the dogs, and it shows in everything they do.They also run really fun themed events — Hallie recently went to a lovely Valentine’s event, and last week they had a “pawty” with water play, sand play, pawsecco, piñatas, and more. We also really enjoy seeing the daily update videos on Instagram.Oxford Pet Whisperers is an amazing place, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a safe, fun, and enriching environment for their dog.

Oxford pet whisperers are amazing. Honey has such a great time at day care and she is so well looked after. From socialising to playing to training, OPW do such a great job. Leaving your dog with anyone can be daunting but I couldn’t recommend them more. Throughly recommended.

The confidence and difference we have seen in the short time Chester has been at OWP has been amazing to see - from the nervous dog being left with strangers to pulling to get in to spend the day at OWP is such an achievement for him. Skye, our dog, is so happy to go to OPW. She has been going since she was a puppy. She has done the puppy training, which was great to help us set up some ground base for training her. Now she goes once a week for a full day and twice a week with Pick Up an Play. It is a great alternative for her. She gets tired from a full day of activities. PUP sessions allows her to stay home when we are at work and we know she is taken care of for a couple of hours and still has some energy when we come back home to play with her. The team is amazing! Skye started having panic attacks when we had our baby and whole team took such great care of her making sure she wasn't getting stressed. They helped so much making her go over it quickly

We’ve been using Oxford Pet Whisperers’ pick-up & play service for over two years now. We originally used dog walkers, but made the switch for better reliability and to give Banjo a play experience we couldn't provide ourselves.It's the absolute highlight of Banjo's week. He genuinely squeals at the door the when Natalie arrives to pick him up! It’s such a lovely feeling knowing he has a day he truly looks forward to. Because he’s there so often, we have total peace of mind whenever we have to leave him overnight, knowing he’s not just being looked after but in a place he truly loves.

We were new to puppy ownership and I was really struggling with Puppy blues and was recommended by a friend to look into daycare! I was so anxious about it but when I came across Oxford Pet Whisperers I knew they were the place! I’m so glad I was right - Lady was a little nervous at start but the team were incredible, and now she struggles to contain her excitement the second I park the car outside and RUNs into the building to start her day! We did the puppy package after her assessment which really helped her settle in and we noticed such a difference in her! She’s even able to greet dogs outside much more calmly and has grown in confidence around humans! It’s lovely to see her in videos on instagram having the best time and she has such a glorious sleep when she gets home! They not only provide excellent care, but they train and enrich them too. We have also used the doggy hotel and it’s perfect. Can’t recommend enough!

Our Labrador is an amputee so we were nervous to send her somewhere and discussed her needs in advance before booking.She has absolutely loved going, she pulls like mad to go inside and we can see from the photos and videos on Instagram that she joins in well and has a fabulous time.

They keep parking - and parking is generous as it's more abandoned in the middle of a lane - a massive van right on the corner of a junction 30 metres away from a school so kids have to cross the junction blind. Clearly they care more about pets than children.

We’ve been using Oxford Pet Whisperers for doggy daycare for over a month now, and more recently used their hotel service for an extended weekend. The team is fantastic – always friendly, professional, and clearly passionate about the dogs in their care. During our dog’s hotel stay, we received regular updates, which was really reassuring and much appreciated.From our dog’s perspective, the difference has been amazing – she’s become so much more confident, always comes home happy, well exercised, and ready for a nap after so much playtime and fun! Quite a unique dog care centre which I havent come across before.. It combines daycare, boarding and training all in one (all the staff are certified dog trainers) and focusses on dog socialisation, behaviour, enrichment, fun and behaviour which other dog care places just don't do. I wanted something that allowed my dog to be able to socialise and have fun whilst encouraging good behaviour throughout. Not the cheapest option, but value for money when you see what they are getting and how much they benefit from it.

Misty had her first assessment day today which I think has been the best day of her life. She walked in with no issues, full of confidence and intreigued to meet everyone. I received a full daycare report at the end of it which I read like a proud mother. The descriptions of Misty's behaviour were as I expected of her, but I'm very pleased that some of her impolite behaviours have already been corrected in a single day. She has already experienced new things like agility equipment and enrichment play. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the stories on social media seeing her having such a good time. The extra photos which were sent with her daycare report are beautiful. Misty came out at the end of the day and wanted to go back in, but has returned home super tired and calm. All she wanted was a cuddle before taking herself off to bed. What a gorgeous place with wonderful staff. I think we spoke with Amber today in particular but another trainer helped explain the process to us last week too. Both were absolutely lovely. See you again soon!

What a fantastic find, my dog loves it there and she is kept busy all day with water, sand, snuffling and cuddles. She nearly pulls my arm off trying to get in and is exhausted when she gets home.

Hugo has been at Oxford pet whisperers since he was 3/4 months old. He goes generally twice a week and is so excited when he notices where we are going. He absolutely loves it and comes back so tired. It has been amazing for his socialising and training and he’s made lot of little friends. Every single staff member/trainer is so lovely and genuinely care about your fur baby and I couldn’t ask for a better daycare for him. Absolutely outstanding place.

I have a 1 year old working cocker spaniel who goes to OPW at least once a week and has recently started using their doggie hotel. He loves it! He is so excited when we get to daycare and I love that the drop off/pick up timings are 07:30-18:00 so it’s realistic for people who work full time! I don’t have any issues with booking extra days either which is a relief as my availability can be unpredictable. Also the staff are so friendly and kind! I wasn’t sure at first so we spent the 1st year going to a small home-based daycare elsewhere. I wish we had gone here first!
