It felt like a journey through body,mind and soul and at many points made me very emotional. After the treatment Grant sat with me for ages a discussed everything he had felt and listened to everything I had seen and felt. I felt that I had let go of stored emotions I didn't know I had and was totally relaxed. I had a fantastic oncology treatment Katie today. It was absolutely blissful, I came out feeling like a new woman! Having been through a rough time recently, it was the pampering and tonic I needed. We had paid extra to use the facilities, and was nice to have relaxing float in the pool. It was very good value for money. Unfortunately we have not had a good experience with this spa. We booked a deep tissue massage on their website for a birthday treat. That evening we got a message from the manager to say the treatment was not available for the date and time booked and offered us an alternative treatment. Unfortunately we have not had a good experience with this spa. We booked a deep tissue massage on their website for a birthday treat. That evening we got a message from the manager to say the treatment was not available for the date and time booked and offered us an alternative treatment. We tired to be flexible with the spa to reschedule but as we were after a specific type of massage and were not able to make any near by dates due to work commitments and having two young kids at the weekends we thought it best to cancel and be given a full refund. The staff have point blank refused to give us our money back and will only offer a gift voucher. They are trying to charge us £125 for a service which they were not able to provide. We are not annoyed with the spa for having an issue their side but how can they charge us for THEIR ERROR. They have made us feel like we are trying to steel money from them even though within 30 mins of them first contacting us to try to rearrange we requested for the booking to be cancelled as we couldn't accommodate the change they wanted. They have stolen £125 from us which was supposed to be a nice birthday gift and experience from my husband. Less
