I highly recommend the Schroth Foundations Protocol for anyone seeking an accessible, online, personalized way to learn and practice the Schroth Method. Because Schroth-trained physical therapists are difficult to find in my area, this program made curve-specific instruction available to me in my own home. The exercises are tailored to my scoliosis curve, and I received one-on-one support throughout the program. I could submit videos of myself doing specific exercises through the online portal so Dr. Katie could review my form, provide feedback and help me perform them correctly. I now feel confident that I can continue the exercises and will have lasting improvements not found over all of the years of massages and regular PT sessions. Thank you for caring Dr. Katie.

Wonderful experience! Dr. Katie helped me understand my scoliosis and what my back actually needs. I was hesitant to commit to the online coaching format, but I’m glad I did! When I perform the exercises consistently (at least 4 times per week), I feel a huge difference. My pain level has diminished tremendously and I can walk and stand for longer periods of time without pain and discomfort. If you’re on the fence like I was, just do it! No regrets!

Last week I did the four day Schroth retreat with Dr.Katie Blanchard. It was incredibly helpful to take a deep dive into the details of my curve and to learn exactly what PT exercises I should be doing -as well as a few things that I shouldn’t do. I left feeling hopeful, confident and motivated. Since my return home, I have continued my exercises every day and have had a huge reduction in my pain. I am so grateful to Katie!

I started working directly with Dr. Katie Blanchard in November, 2025. There are no Schroth PTs in my area and everywhere I read that it was the method considered the “gold standard” for scoliosis. I started with her remote program, Schroth Foundations Protocol. It started with her analyzing my x rays and reports and virtually meeting with me to explain the program and answer my questions. I had access to the ScoliClub Hub which is amazing in itself, but I also had daily exercises specific to my curve to follow. I got a great deal of relief and MUCH better understanding of the Schroth method.Last week I attended her retreat in Chicago where 6 women were able to do programs, again designed for our curve patterns, get a lot of questions answered, meet with others with the same struggles, and I got a new level of pain relief, personal corrections, and future help.Highly, highly recommend!

Dr. Katie Blanchard is a true scoliosis specialist! She has completely changed how I look at and manage my scoliosis. I spent 3 months working with her on the Schroth Method and couldn't be happier with my progress. She moves away from traditional "one-size-fits-all" physical therapy and targets your exact three-dimensional curve pattern. My body feels much more balanced, mobile and energetic. Dr. Katie is wonderful, caring and knowledgeable in Schroth therapy. I’m 64 with S curve scoliosis. I had daily lower back pain and sciatica which was getting worse. She provided one on one sessions that provided detailed Schroth breathing and exercises specific to my curves. Now I work consistently on my strength and stability every day using the program she provided to slow or stop my scoliosis from progressing. Today my sciatica is gone and my lower back is mostly pain free. I highly recommend Schroth Boss with Dr. Katie.

Attended the June 2026 retreat and loved it. I have severe scoliosis and found the exercises have reduced my pain level significantly. Well worth the trip to Chicago. A lot of information packed into two days It’s great to find an option other than surgery or pain meds to help with the pain

If you are looking for a program to help you learn how to manage/improve your Scoliosis, I highly recommend The Curve Control Program, created by Dr. Katie Blanchard (AKA The Schroth Boss).This program has helped me learn how to:- control back pain/discomfort- help slow/halt the progression of my curve- safely strengthen my muscles and core- maintain balance and mobilityThe program utilizes a well designed and easy to use website. A few of the features include custom exercise programming, a Schroth exercise video library, supplemental strength training videos (upper body, lower body, core, balance, etc), and guides to managing life with scoliosis. There are also opportunities to join live community classes.The program also provides support through weekly Q &A classes, private email, and intermittent one-on-one online meetings with Dr. Blanchard.I have gained essential knowledge and skill in the management of my Scoliosis.
