We came down from ROCKWALL to view some homes in the area. While passing through we saw Cochran’s cafeteria. We had to stop. I needed some gizzards and liver!The food was delicious. The restrooms were clean and fresh. It was a wonderful experience after what I had experienced yesterday at the Braums in Greenville. We will definitely be back. Thank you 😊

Great food and friendly service. We tried the smothered pork chop, catfish, hamburger steak, chicken gizzards, fried zucchini, broccoli and cheese, cabbage, pinto beans, and Mac and cheese. Everything was delicious. We will definitely be back.We went back and brought friends this time!!! The best chicken fried steak!!! They tenderize real steak, bread it, and fry it. We also tried the turnip greens, pea salad, and fried potatoes. I'm telling you there isn't anything at this restaurant that isn't good. I spoke with the owner and they are really great people. Oh and they make their own bbq sauce. Give them a try.

Down home type of place. Casual seating like a DQ. Hadn't been there for about 5 years (moved away) but the food was as incredible as I remembered. Maria was delightful as she helped us with our order. Definitely will go back next time through.

It was my first time there. I was disappointed that the forks and spoons were plastic. It would’ve felt like a much better meal with metal utensils and my chicken and dumplings were served in a Styrofoam bowl. Why not an actual bowl? I don’t understand what a place with such good food would down great experience using disposables. I got the okra which was just frozen okra. It wasn’t that great and I also got the chicken rice and broccoli which I didn’t like so it was sort of a waste of money, but it probably had to do with my choice of sides the rolls were good.
