There was a misunderstanding between the cashier and I about the charges and the manager came in and after she communicated with him in Spanish he told me that I was charged right. After that I got two more of the water cups and she told me that you already took two you can’t get more I just paid $70 dollars and I can’t get 4 cups of water!!!! I spoke to the manager and he told me just go ahead I told him I will leave the cups and he told me that Nobody lips would touch that cup after I touched it! The discrimination and prejudice in this establishment is disgusting. The saddest part is that it was done by other minorities. We recently moved to the area and we found this restaurant online. I placed order over the phone and I asked for pork chops fried crispy. When we picked up our order the pork was smothered in gravy. I called back and asked for the manager. I told him about the order and management stated it was my problem. He was not replacing it. He was rude and told me to go eat some where. How rude!!! I have been passing this restaurant up because of their outside appearance, but they're high Google rating (for restaurants in our area) drew me in. I'm so glad. The inside while not modern it was immaculately clean and the tables and chairs were in good repair. I was pleasantly surprised to see real mashed potatoes on their cafeteria line. I’m giving 2 stars because everytime I get get a meal with a salad they put the salad in the same box as my food and it gets all steamy from the heat having soggy lettuce salad is no fun I love salad I expect them to use a separate container even after I always ask them to. Homestyle cooking at it's finest!! The best fried catfish in this area. Very friendly and down home employees..I highly recommend this restaurant!

I enjoyed my selection very much. I do love chicken livers and gravy and being cafeteria style I also got a chicken fried steak and gravy and black-eyed peas. And peach cobbler for desert. I'm afraid they might have had to use a dolly to get me back out to my car had I not had enough sense to save my cobbler until the three hour drive home was complete. Great place! 👍... More

The place doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's clean and comfortable and the food is fantastic with a huge selection.
