This procedure was able to be done with intravenous sedation , I was totally asleep , yet not under general anesthetic which was important to me . Everything went very smoothly due to very explicit instructions , and everyone’s attention to detail . The downtime is minimal … 7-10 days . ALL staff from the first meeting have been so friendly and conscientious . I could not be happier . I love how my neck looks , my nasolabial folds are minimized and the end result is a very refreshed younger and NATURAL look . I cannot begin to explain how comfortable I was made from the minute I walked into the clinic due to being so warmly welcomed by Lindsey and Julliette, also Shea made me feel a million times more comfortable during my preoperation and consultation. Shea went into very specific details regarding the surgery and explained step by step the recovery process and what to expect. Another great experience was meeting Dr. T. He is beyond talented, and such a perfectionist! No matter what I say it will not be enough, because then I won’t be giving him enough credit for the amazing work he has done on my face. In addition, during recovery Dr. Magee was extremely supportive and patient. I won’t lie, it was somewhat emotional for me seeing the incisions all over and my face all swollen; however, having her assuring me that it’s a process and I will look the best in no time was very calming. I first saw Dr. Gitt in November 2003 for a breast augmentation, and then in 2004 for a liposuction procedure. Fast forward to 2015, after having great results from my first set of saline implants, I decided I wanted to see Dr. Gitt and have an implant exchange to upgrade to silicone implants. I never had any issues with my saline implants, I just wanted a more natural, softer look. Because of not remembering what size implants I had, Dr. Gitt and I decided the best option for the best long term result would be to rupture my current saline implants. 4 weeks after rupturing my implants, in October 2015 I went in for my surgery. I decided to go through the old implant scar (nipple) and ended up choosing 600cc high profile silicone implants. The nurse, surgical nurse, anesthesiologist, and Dr. Gitt were all amazing and surgery went great. Recovery was a bit tougher than I remember. Probably because I'm 35 now, not 23. And the fact that the silicone implants are pre filled versus my old saline implants that were filled once they were inside. After I was completely recovered, pain free, and now that I am 13 weeks post op, I couldn't be happier with the end result. After 3 separate procedures and a 12 year relationship with Dr. Gitt and his staff, I would highly recommend North Valley Plastic Surgery. They even took my insurance card on the phone. I was little disappointed when a week later 2 hours before the appointment they called to say he didn't take my insurance and I had to see another doctor a week later. I Should have just stayed home for this appointment and just mailed them the copay of 40 dollars. The doctor said might be a bug bit or a jelly fish... Are you kidding it's been swollen for a month and I might have thought of that.. Our maybe my primary care physician... Or my mom! He never even checked the areas... It's on my face.
