I attended coastal tech for my LPN, and I’m honestly grateful for the experience. The instructors really take there time to make sure you understand the material and lessons . Whenever the class had questions they were always patient and willing to help . This program really pushed me to stay focused and disciplined as I grew from a student to a nurse . The teacher Ms. Jaysha Ramos was fantastic, she has such patience, also, so educated in the medical field, she is absolutely a great teacher. This was the best class. I took the Phlebotomy course with Ms. Jaysha. She taught in a way that I truly understood, and for once I actually felt smart and confident in what I was learning.She encouraged us every day and created such a positive environment! I have to say I came here with self doubt about my ability to learn, not knowing if Id be good enough to be a CNA, but I got to say what I saw and learned definitely blew my mind midway, through out the entire way of being here, Mrs. CJ and Mrs. Murdella stayed firm and never gave up on me, and even in the last final days of being there, they gave me every tool necessary and never before had I felt so confident, I thank them and Coastal Technical Institute for helping me on my journey in the Medical Field and for being a part of something that means so much to me, I will soon be a CNA, and that wouldnt have happened if it wasnt for my amazing instructors.🙏

It took a lot of hard work and dedication, but the support from my teachers made all the difference. Miss Terry especially helped me so much and always encouraged me. I will say this is by far an amazing experience. I went here during the name change (Brevard Nursing Academy was transitioning to Coastal Tech). I started in May and Finished my CNA class in June of 2025. I was thoroughly impressed by the ENTIRE staff. From the office Staff (Ms. Stephanie and Ms. Leighann), Mr. Bill, Mrs. CJ (My instructor who is just the BEST) along with Ms. Murdella who taught us our Skills. I met some really nice young people in my class and I learned not only the things I needed to utilize in the field as a CNA but also got to make some really cool friends. All the other programs offered are also exceptional. Take a tour of the school. You wont regret it!! Thank you Coastal Tech.

I attended Brevard Nursing Academy back in 2023 (now run by Coastal) most of the same people however still work there. I loved it and everyone was very friendly.I am however impressed with when my sister joined this year how Costal how they treated her like family. We had some obstacles and emergency’s in our family and they were so supportive. Mrs CJ her main teacher and Mrs Murdella (skills teacher) who I also had for skills were amazing.Due to family emergency’s they were very understanding and helped Mary all the way. Mary had to put a pause at one point. Her teacher always checking in. Coming back they knew how strong and dedicated she was, always coming in to practice practice practice. Mrs CJ really took care of Mary and was determined in helping her get to where she is now. A CNA! When they told her she passed and my sister told me, I cried with joy. My whole family did. They knew how much this meant to her. When my family went in there to see her receive her certificate you could see the joy on her teachers face and everyone that worked there that saw. They care just as much as you and they know how much it means to you and this whole experience they gave my sister was absolutely amazing at how they cared about her and treated like her like family. Even through all the trials she went through she never gave up and they never gave up on her. Thank you Coastal Academy for supporting and dedicating so much into my sister Mary. You are definitely top on our list and we will recommend you to anyone and everyone. God Bless!(P.S she even got to incorporate what she was learning in. Class with our Uncle. Coastal is a great school! Everyone there is so welcoming and very supportive. I have a twin sister that went there 2 years ago and she recommended them to me. I took the CNA/HHA course and Mrs CJ and Ms Murdella are the best teachers you could ask for. They not only teach you what you’re there for they also give you the materials to get out there and start working right away. They actually care for you and want you to succeed. Honestly I believe they are just as excited maybe even more excited for you to succeed and receive your certificates at graduation. You can see the love for teaching in their eyes and they know that your accomplishment is their accomplishment. I had a family emergency and sadly had to put my schooling on hold and they were so helpful with the whole thing. They actually cared and ask how everything was doing as well. My instructor for my daytime CNA classes was CJ, and she is absolutely amazing. The way she teaches really helps you figure things out and truly understand what you’re learning. She always connects lessons to real-life stories, which makes it so much easier to remember the concepts. CJ is not only an incredible teacher but also an inspiring person overall. Phlebotomy Program Review Coastal TechI recently completed the six-week phlebotomy program at Coastal Tech, and it was truly a life changing experience. From day one, I felt welcomed not just by the staff, but by my classmates, many of who became close friends throughout the journey. The program offered a great balance of hands on training and classroom learning, and I especially enjoyed learning about the different types of needles and techniques used in phlebotomy.One of the biggest challenges I faced was building my confidence, especially when it came to drawing blood. At times, I was afraid of hurting my classmates during practice, and that fear made it hard to trust myself. But with the support of my peers and the incredible guidance of our instructor, I gradually overcame those doubts. She believed in every one of us, even when we didn’t believe in ourselves. That kind of encouragement made all the difference. With the skills from this program I was able to get a job in phlebotomy. Thank you Ms Jaysha Ramos.
